Final "Magic, Memories" Show Slated for September 4

Those of you wishing to catch the projection-drive nighttime showing of "The Magic, the Memories and You" at Disney's Magic Kingdom have only a handful of days left to do so. The final showing is set for September 4.

"The Magic, the Memories and You" has been around since 2011. In what's become a kind of pre-show for the Magic Kingdom's nightly fireworks display, sixteen projectors turn Cinderella's Castle into a screen of sorts for pictures of that day's guests of the park.

Disney Phone Lines Busy With Be Our Guest Reservations

Disney phone lines were kept busy today as guests began dialing for reservations for Be Our Guest. Today was the first day reservations could be sought for the newest Fantasyland restaurant, which is set to open for dining November 19.

Splash Mountain Turns 20

Happy birthday wishes go out to Splash Mountain as today marks this guest favorite's twentieth year in the Magic Kingdom. It was on this date - July 17 - in 1992 that the 86-foot-tall Splash Mountain made its debut in Walt Disney World.

Disney Parks Ticket Prices Increase June 2, 2013

Beginning tomorrow, June 2, 2013 tickets to Disney's Florida and California theme parks will have new pricing. For the first time, a one day Park Ticket to the Magic Kingdom (at $95) costs more than a one day Park Ticket to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom (each at $90). That means that one day at the Magic Kingdom ticket is a full $6 more than if was last year. The price increase, though sudden, does not come as that much of a surprise as the last ticket price increase occurred in June of 2012.
