It's that time of year again - time for ticket prices to increase at the Walt Disney World Resort. Last year Disney introduced the tiered pricing schedule for theme park tickets, but this year it wasn't as drastic even though prices for one-day tickets have increased a bit.

After several weeks of speculation, it's official. You'll be paying more for single-day and multi-day tickets at Walt Disney World. A one-day ticket for the Magic Kingdom is now $105 plus tax. The ticket price for the other theme parks has also increased to $97 plus tax.

Disney Lobbying for Stronger Protection against Theme Park Ticket Fraud as it Relates to MagicBands

Theme park ticket fraud is an issue in Central Florida, home to some of the biggest theme parks in the world.

And Walt Disney World is lobbying for stronger penalties when it comes to fraud, in addition to stronger protections to apply to the MagicBands.

Under current Florida law it is illegal for someone to resell a multi-park or multi-day theme park ticket after it has been used once. However, the law requires the phrase "non-transferable; must be used by the same person on all days" to be on the ticket.
