Timon and Pumbaa are Wild About Safety

Have you ever picked up a counter service meal in Animal Kingdom and found a trading card on your tray? I was puzzled by this during my last trip and admittedly, the card went into the trash with the rest of my garbage. However later in the day I discovered just what that card was and how much fun it is being a kid again at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

3 Great Jogging Trails at Walt Disney World Resort

Jogging trails are offered for guests to use throughout Walt Disney World Resort. Most of the Disney Hotels have "Winding paths through serene wilderness and scenic trails alongside sprawling lakes and rivers," offer some of the most charming and tranquil views of the property. If you plan on using the resort's jogging trails during your stay, please ask for maps and information at the front desk of your resort hotel. I thought that I'd share a couple of the ones that I've walked.

Listen to Epcot's Unique Percussion Crew: The JaMMitors

One of my favorite parts of Epcot is all the live entertainment happening constantly around the park. Music is everywhere, even at the trashcans. The JaMMitors are a unique "percussion-playing cleanup crew" that adds fun and creativity to even the most boring of Disney jobs. Instruments for this exciting entertainment crew are simply "regular trash cans, dustpans, and hardhats." Dressed as custodians the group "are actually percussionists who bang, clap, clip and clomp to your heart's delight".

Banana Cabana Pool Bar at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort

Amongst Walt Disney World pool bars, this one may very well have the most cult-like following of all. Guests and fans of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort will happily sing the praises of the Banana Cabana Poolside Bar at Old Port Royale. It's one of the things that this resort's guests look forward to most as they plan their next Orlando vacations.

Fans Choose, Disney's Polynesian Resort has their Favorite WDW Beach

We polled our fans over on Facebook to find out what their favorite Walt Disney World Resort Beach is. It's no surprise that the intense theming at this original WDW Resort goes a long way to create dedicated hotel fans. That sweeping tropical feeling can truly transport you to another time and place, without a doubt Disney's Polynesian Resort ran away with the title!

Three Fantastic African Safaris at Walt Disney World Resort

Kilimanjaro Safaris, located at Disney's Animal Kingdom is one of the parks most popular regular attractions. A favorite for guests of all ages, it takes on a trip through the Harambe Wildlife Reserve. You can board a rugged open-sided safari vehicle that will transport you on a unique expedition snaking through a wildlife preserve where with a little Disney magic the animals seemingly roam free. You'll be treated to up close views of cheetah, giraffe, zebras, lions, rhinos and elephants just to name a few.

Matsuriza: Taiko Drums at Epcot's Japan Pavilion

In the Japanese language "Taiko" means "great drum." For fans and guests of the Japan Pavilion at Walt Disney World's Epcot theme park, "Taiko" means you are in for a really great show.

Traditional Japanese Drumming and it's history can be "traced back for centuries as a way to reflect the spirit and essence of the Japanese people during religious ceremonies, harvest festivals and even on the battlefield." Drums were used to give orders, set a marching pace and the raise morale of Japanese fighting troops.
