Frozen Draft Beer Invades the U.S. - At Epcot's Japan Pavilion

It's a hit across the ocean in Tokyo, Japan , and now it's hit the mainland U.S. We're talking, of course, about frozen draft beer; guests heading out to the Japan Pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase can now sample one of these frosty beverages.

As you can see in the picture, the beer looks like it's topped with a whipped topping of some sort, or even ice cream. Rest assured, it's truly a cold beer, Kirin brand, topped by frozen beer. The frozen topping helps the beer retain its refreshing coldness quite a bit longer than its regular counterparts.

World Showcase To Receive Updated Costumes

In what looks to be an effort to update Epcot's World Showcase, Disney Imagineers are hard at work designing new costumes for cast members at the pavilions.

It's reported guest feedback has indicated the Showcase is "somewhat dated" with the costumes being one of the "biggest issues." In order to remedy this and present a more current version of the world, Disney Imagineering is designing brand new outfits for the World Showcase.

Epcot's Japan Pavilion Has New Ice Pop Stand

An ice pop can be just what the doctor ordered when taking in Disney on a hot day, and guests circling the World Showcase can find one at a new stand in the Japan pavilion.

The tasty treats will set you back (drumroll, please) only a buck. Yep, you read that right: you can have an icy treat at Epcot for $1.00. These ice pops come in melon, lemon, orange, grape and strawberry.

Reports out of Epcot say the ice pops have a good flavor, a sturdy plastic wrapper and are easily broken in two for sharing.

Our Favorite Things about Epcot’s Morocco Pavilion

One of the most beautiful pavilions in Epcot's World Showcase is Morocco. The pavilion might not have an attraction like a ride or a film but that doesn't mean you should breeze past it on your travels around the world. It's definitely on our list of must-visit locations at Epcot.

Grab a Waterfront Seat and Enjoy Some Mexican Treats at La Cantina de San Angel

One of my favorite places to grab a counter service meal while touring World Showcase is La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion.

This quick service restaurant is across the walkway from the pavilion's Mayan pyramid, and it offers good food, good margaritas, and really great views of the lagoon.

Epcot's China Pavilion Puts the Temple of Heaven Center Stage

Epcot's World Showcase is home so some beautiful feats of landscaping and architecture. No more so is this apparent than in the tranquil and serene China Pavilion with its exteriors painted in bright colors set against white stone lined walkways and lush green gardens. Soothing traditional music plays throughout the pavilion and the reflecting pond outside beckons guests closer to the temple, where they can enjoy the Circle-Vision 360 film "Reflections of China."

Where to Find the Characters While Touring Epcot

I often hear people say that they don't think they'll take their kids to Epcot on a family trip to Walt Disney World because the kids would be "bored" since there's "nothing for kids" at Epcot.

I think it's safe to say we all know this isn't the case. From great attractions such as Soarin', Test Track, and of course The Seas with Nemo and Friends, to the Kidcot Fun Stops in each pavilion in World Showcase - there is definitely a lot for kids to do.
