It looks like Disney is finally telling us a little about what will be happening to celebrate WDW's 40th Anniversary on October 1! I'm kind of excited because it turns out that I'll get to be on hand for this as well. I won't get to see the fireworks, but I'll be there for the morning ceremony. Thankful for such a great upcoming weekend! So much exciting stuff going on!

Sounds like a great day for whoever is lucky enough to be there on that day. Personally I would love to be there BUT we will miss it by 1 month exactly.

I'm going to be part of that human mass as well... just remember to stay hydrated and stay in the shade. The sun and heat will tax you body and energy you will need that evening... also set two deadlines for leaving the park. The first is your should or goal time for leaving and the second is your have-to/must leave time in order to still get an adequate nap and meal.
