ADRs - AGAIN!

I just realized tomorrow is ADR day for my 3rd trip to WDW (for Princess Half in Feb). I'm feeling uncertain as to what to book. I really am trying to look for new places and not just rebook. Here's what I've got and see what you all might suggest:

Where I will have eaten before the Feb trip:

- Boma
- Y&Y
- BOG
- Captain Cooks for Tonga Toast
- Cape May Breakfast
- Coral Reef
- Tusker House
- O'Hana breakfast
- Spirit of Aloha
- Biergarten
- Big River Brewing

I'm thinking of booking the Cape May seafood buffet for one night, and maybe Biergarten again after the race as my celebration lunch/dinner (celebrate with a big stein of beer? Why, don't mind if I do!!). What am I missing? I feel like there are dining experiences I haven't had but I can't figure out what to book!! Keep in mind, I'm dining solo, so Yachtsman, Citricos, Narcoosee, etc etc etc are probably not in the cards (seems sort of a waste of fine dining for just myself).

Don't feel that way about dining at Yachtsman, etc. just because you are by yourself. If you want to dine there I say book it. I think after running in all those races you deserve a proper celebration dinner. I know I would!

I think I would include Crystal Palace before opening so you can see MK empty.

I agree with Chefs...book dinner to see Remy if you can! Also...the pizza at Via Napoli is excellent!

So Remy is only at dinner?? Good to know, Chef's is on my list of possibles. As is CRT, but I may look at Crystal Palace, as well. Thanks all for the suggestions!! Now just have to get up and get on the phone before my run tomorrow!

I love 50s Prime Time. I've gone there by myself and it wasn't bad. Still as much fun.

OMG. It IS that day tomorrow!!! I haven't even *thought* about it. Surely it won't be hard to get a table for one? Should we maybe try to meet up for a meal? Smile

All three times I've been at Chefs for lunch, I've seen Remy.

Okay - so here's what I ended up with:

Thurs: Cape May for the seafood dinner. All you can eat crab legs?? Don't mind if I do!
Fri: Late lunch/early dinner at Brown Derby as part of the Fantasmic package.
Sat: via Napoli for lunch
Sun: Biergarten for my celebratory stein of beer
Mon: Breakfast at CRT and/or dinner at Les Chefs. Took your advice, Angels, and booked an 805 at CRT (I realize you suggested CP, but I'm not a fan of Winnie the Pooh and would rather see the princesses!). I usually don't like to do 2 ADRs on the same day so I'm not sure if I'd rather eat there or at Chefs. I feel like I've got a lot going on in Epcot, but I guess that's where most of the dining is!

Not sure if all of these will hold, already second guessing! Thanks for all of your suggestions.

Taratru - we should meet up. We'll definitely have to plan a happy hour meet up as I know a lot of us are doing the Princess weekend. Maybe late Sunday afternoon after all the races are done we could meet up at the bar at the Poly for a Lapu Lapu?? Thoughts??

I booked my ADRs this morning too. We're also having breakfast at CRT on Monday morning at 8:05.

I had a solo dinner at the Yachtman last year. I was treated awesome there. The waiter was fantastic. The chef brought my meal to me and stopped by later to see how it was. It made me feel special.

JMUdukz I didn't think CRT would have a reservation since it is so hard to get into. I would prefer CRT over CP any day. The food at CP is average, but it easier to get then CRT. Enjoy!

In all my trips I have not entered MK before it has opened. J (hazegry) the photographer would kill for that.

I think a happy hour meet up sounds awesome!

Now I'm thinking about CRT...I wonder how pissed off my daughter would be? wink I was thinking about maybe making NO reservations and winging it since I'm mostly going solo, but I really want to try some new things so I can take DH to new places next time.

Off to look!

CRT often takes walk ins for breakfast because they have a fast turn around with tables.

I've got:

Fri night: Via Napoli (pre race pizza Smile )
Sun night: Be Our Guest
Mon morning: CRT at 9:05

Still need a post-race celebratory lunch or dinner... hmm....

I'm traveling with a friend who hasn't been for a looooong time, so I will be eating mostly in parks I think, which is fine. Maybe we'll see you all on that Monday morning as well! Smile

What time will you be at BoG? I'm having dinner there too Sunday night.

5:20. I was thinking if we plan on meeting at the Poly for drinks late afternoon, I can see if I can get a later time.

I'm down for anything! We could even meet at the Poly earlier, if you don't want to change your ressie. I'm perfectly fine with drinking the whole damn day while on vacation and post-race. awesome

I was able to get an ADR for 6:55. I was very surprised it let me keep my earlier ADR. I was expecting to get a notice to cancel it. Once we firm things up I'll cancel one of them. Plus I want to talk to my friend and cousins who I'm traveling with to make sure they're ok with the later time.
