Aloha Pork Sandwich at Captain Cooks

So I mentioned this sandwich on the podcast and I was curious to see if any of you liked it or had any opinion on it.

So it's really good. The pork taste is great and everything mixes together, except I thought the cucumber taste was a bit overpowering. AJ says I'm just pushing my anti-cucumber agenda, so I was curious to see what you guys thought. Overall I give it high marks, but next time I might ditch some of the cucumber. In fact I think it might be one of my favorite CS sandwiches around. What do you guys think?

(I included a couple of pictures to help you make up your mind)

So answer the poll and let me know your feelings on this sandwich:

I wouldn't mind trying this. The cucumber doesn't bother me; it's the tomato I could do without.

I will have to try this on my next trip to the World, but by the time I get there it may be gone cause my next trip is west not south.

I'm guessing the only vote so far for "Brad is very insightful and it is great, but marred by too much cucumber." is by Brad laugh

I would try it, but I would remove the cucumber pronto. That's just weird. I like cucumbers, but not on a sandwich. I would remove the tomato too. I'm a purist (Joe says freak) because I don't like things interfering with the primary taste. I eat just about everything plain.

Those fries looks really good too!!

I said I would try it....I have nothing against cucumbers or tomatoes Smile I'm the type of person who likes a little sandwich with my toppings and condiments...LOL

I love cucumber and would happily give this a try. The one thing I've noticed s that my pork consumption goes up like crazy when I'm in Disney! mickey

I've actually been craving it a bit since I've been looking at these pictures. But that may just be because I'm trying to eat well this week. laugh
