Annual Pass Room Discounts

I'm researching and pre-planning my next trip which will be in October (solo trip) or November (with friends) of this year. I'm 85% sure I'm going in October to take full advantage of my annual pass. If I go in November, I'll only have it for the first few days and will have to park tickets for the rest of the trip. If I go in October, I think I'm going to do a split stay - first half at a value and the second half at a moderate. Of course, this depends on room rates and discounts.

The annual passholder room discounts are currently through the middle of June. When are the discounts historically released for the fall? I have a few weeks to decide as I'm not planning on booking until after my trip this month regardless of discounts. I'll keep an eye out for them and have them applied if applicable. Who knows, maybe I'll get a good bounce back offer. crossfingers

I just did this for Princess!! Made them rebook my reservation (for the 3rd time!) to take advantage of the AP discount. Don't forget you can use your AP at the race expo if you buy official race merch to get a discount!

Thanks for the reminder on the discount on the race merchandise.

I checked for room discounts but AoA LM rooms aren't included.

What kind of room discount do you get with an annual pass? And is it in addition to any other discounts, like the discounts currently being offered for springtime stays?

There are a couple of offers right now for passholders - one though April 12 and one from April 21 through June 15.

Your husband has an annual pass, right? If it's linked to MDE, you can see them when logged in.

I don't know the percentage, buy my AP discount is less than the current springtime specials. Not by a whole lot (I'm saving just around $40 from the springtime specials) but that's dinner at Biergarten!!

UGH. I know. I was at AoA, but the spring specials saved me $250 to switch to pop, and then another $40 for my AP. Figured that covers most of my ADRs!!

Hello, may I ask you how much do you pay for a night as a passholder?
We (me and my husband) don't have a pass and the discounts I've found are not what I've expected.
For example, the discounts on http://orlando.hotelscheap.org/Walt-Disney-World-Swan-163897?price=199 account for not more than a couple of percents from the whole price, in my opinion..
We plan to spend three nights there in April.

Don't forget, the Swan is technically NOT a Disney resort, so all of the discounts do not apply. It obviously depends on when you are going. I am paying $124/ish a night to stay at Pop next weekend. It's a race weekend. With the winter specials, I was paying about $10/more per night. Without any of the deals, I was paying about $170/night. I don't think the AP discount is enough to justify getting one, but it is enough to justify making Disney redo your reservation to give you the discount if you already have them!

i'm late to the party...i called Disney and the CM managed to get me a great rate for beach club for F&W /room and dine room. I couldn't get anything through DME at a cheap rate but she was able to rebook me at the AP rate.

I just made my reservations for October!! The CM I spoke to couldn't find any discounts for me for this time. I'll keep an eye out and call back to have them applied. I am doing a split stay - first half of the trip will be at All Star Movies and second half at POFQ. At least for now. This is subject to change once the discounts are announced.
