Does anyone know who is the latest Disney hotel resort to get a makeover? Is there a resort that you've recently stayed at that you think would be greatly in need of updating?

SSR got a new pool and the spa is about to go down, GF is refurbishing many of it's public areas, POR just had room updates this year, as did WL. All of the resorts are in the process of getting the RFID locks on the doors. I'm not sure who is next on the schedule.
I haven't stayed there myself, but I've heard more and more over the past couple of years that the Beach Club Villas are really in need of some room remodeling.

After staying at the Poly, which was glorious, I only have one complaint.....
HOT TUB!
Please Polynesian, add a hot tub! Upwards $500 a night, I want to soak in a hot tub!

The Poly has been and is still in the process of a refurbishment. They are putting in new test rooms now and doing some construction around some of the Longhouses. A hot tub? Not anytime soon at the Poly sorry.

The last time I was at CBR...it seemed very outdated for the time. That was a few years ago.
The All Star Sports could use some TLC in certain areas/rooms. It's not that it's "old", but it seems to need some sprucing up inside some of the rooms.

The Poly doesn't have a hot tub? That surprises me since it's such an adult centered hotel

I agree with CBR, it was very lackluster when we stayed there and everything in our room looked slightly worn down.

This wasnt a refurb, but when we were there, they were repainting the halls of AKL Jambo, 5th floor. Loved seeing all the signs of Stitch and Wet Paint all around. But yeah... not a refurb, but great to see them keeping it up in person.

I was reading Disneyfiles yesterday and it said that the Boardwalk is about to get it's arcade and ESPN club redone, they will close in January and that should last through late spring.
Also I seem to recall the 14th floor of the Contemporary is being redone while the Cali Grill is under construction the first half of 2013.
So, going into January 2013 rehabs we know are for sure include:
- Boardwalk Arcade/ESPN Club
- Contemporary California Grill & 14th Floor
- Polynesian Test Rooms and Longhouse updates
- AKL interior is being repainted
- Multi-Resort guest room door lock changes

I saw another source online today talking about rehabs at the Boardwalk, those have been added to this list with the dates they had listed.

Thanks so much for sharing the pictures!!! The rooms look INCREDIBLE! We're trying to book a stay next October and wanted to stay at the WL. Thought that would be the perfect resort to stay in "Fall". Thanks again!

Love the subtle reference to the Hudson's Bay company on the shower curtain @ WL. The colours are in the wrong order, but similar enough.
