APH and Tables in Wonderland?

I think I'm just looking for confirmation on this question. Do most annual pass holders purchase the Tables in Wonderland card for discounts on food and beverages? I've read the rules and restrictions and I think we will benefit from this. Any confirmation from frequent visitors or APHs?

Oh, and can I get TiW at the park (Epcot?)
Thanks.

We purchased TIW when we upgraded to the AP this past September. We saved close to $200 with the card, so we definitely feel it was worth it. When you upgrade to the AP at Guest Services, you can also purchase the TIW card at the same time.

I got the TiW card in Feburary (picked it up at guest services at DHS). I used for my cousins and I so it paid for itself that trip.

Thanks JanJ and JoAnn, that's exactly what I was hoping for -- Getting it easily and saving money. But I guess I have to spend money to save money. Fun comes at a price.

Will be renewing my TIW on Sunday. Card members receive a 20% discount on most table service and some counter service including alcohol. Periodically they have some special events. A few years ago a dinner was held IN the Great Movie Ride!! Wish I had been there....

I can't remember what you have for ADRs. If you have any that you had to pay in advance for (CRT, HDDMR, etc), make sure you give them your card when you arrive and you will get a credit for the discount.

This will be our third year of using TIW. We were always adding the deluxe dining plan before trying the TIW card. For the first two trips using the TIW card I did the math and came up with it did save us a little money but we did not end up with 15-20 snack credits we "had" to use on the last day. Therefore, I decided it was really about the same cost for us either way. We are going with another couple for our November trip. I sat down and really did the math. With a party of four we really will save a good bit using TIW over the deluxe dining plan. I do think it will depend on your party size and how you eat as to how much you save.

100% Definitely!!! awesome mickey

It pays for itself after the first or second dining experience.. You are allowed to use the card for up to eight in your party, so it pays off bigtime for us, since in many cases my in-laws are tagging along and/or our Disney travelling friends (party of four). So yes, definitely get the TIW. You won't regret it!! I love the fact, that the discount applies on alcohalic beverages, as well.. biggrin clapping Have a great time!! awesome mickey

The AP + TIW is a perfect combo. Definitely worth it.

The only thing better would be Iger's magic band.
