Very nice room!

But, without the parks, what does one do while there?

They have a mini waterpark for a pool, a spa and bunch of Hawaiian themed activities.

Well, you're in Hawaii so there's lots to do. biggrin There is a protected lagoon for swimming, paddle boarding and sun bathing. There are two pools, two water slides, multiple hot tubs and a lazy river. Each night there are activities at the starlit hui area which can involve an outdoor Disney movie, local Hawaiian storytelling, or other fun activities. There's also Rainbow Reef where you can snorkel with tropical saltwater fish. You can book many excursions from the concierge desk from horseback riding to island exploration to shopping. Some are complimentary such as the shuttle to the Ala Moana mall.

More than anything, it's relaxing and absolutely gorgeous. mickey

haha, I didn't do a TR and we've got tons of pics. However we're headed to WDW in 11 days so maybe I'll sit down and do both when we get back laugh

Others have mentioned the pool and the beach. And unlike WDW, you should not stay in the bubble. You must get out and explore!

I would love to go to Aulani one day. I have only been to Hawaii once and that was in 1987. It certainly is paradise.
