Beignets *get in my tummy!!!*

Question...

How could I have forgotten these little puffs of heaven? There is no way possible I can fit in another full breakfast so I was wondering...

Are they served all day? Could we swing by and grab a couple before we head to the park OR... Do they still have them late at night? The hours say until 12 I believe. Do they make them fresh up until that time?

I have never been to that resort either, it the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory easily accessible to run in and grab some???

Well on our last trip we were at PORS ( 2012 ) So on our last day,we walked down by the old Sassagoula and into POFQ food court..We ordered two batches ( we still had snack credits to use up. ) The CM server rings a bell when your babies are ready..Yes they are made from fresh..Not sure if it's just a morning thing tho..

When we were there in Oct 2012, you could order them anytime the Floatworks were open...it was super easy and convenient..they have a counter just for ordering them by the pastry cabinets......

When we stayed there we would get them at night and sit and have some coffee and beignets to end our evenings. So I think they are made all day. Oh so hot and yummy. Great now I want one! laugh

I read a week or two ago that they now have gluten free beignets. The Chef at POR has created them and has a passion for creating delicious gluten free options since his wife cannot have gluten. I must have been doing the happy dance all week because I have been craving doughnuts of any kind and just can't have them. I also mentioned to my DH a day before I read this that I wished Disney would have more gluten free pastry options.

Gluten Free Beignets?!!? yay Although they are so good I would have tried the original ones and just suffered the concequences!

The beignets are good but the Cro-nut is OMG fantastic. Trust me on this go get a fro-nut I did a plain without whip cream and without ice cream. It's delicious!
