Best Fantasyland Attraction

We rarely spend much time in fantasyland -- the lines are just too long, and, let's face it, the dark rides can get a bit boring if you ride them over and over again over several trips.

Are there any fantasyland attractions you'd rate as not-to-be-missed? Anything you HAVE to see in fantasyland every time you're in WDW?

Nothing there that I would say is a must do everytrip, but Small World is a must do at least once, and we like Philharmagic.

We usually do Philharmagic two or three times a trip. We LOVE it.

Other than that, if the lines are passable we'll do them, but no rush to go on anything else every trip.

Thanks for the reminder, guys. We haven't done Philharmagic for years. That'll definitely go on the list for this year (that is, if they're keeping it...will Philharmagic make the cut during the Fantasyland re-do?)

I would say that Mickey's PhilharMagic and Mad Tea Party are not-to-be-missed during Fantasyland tour and must I do once. "Cinderella's Royal Table" dining is also included in our favorite Fantasyland attraction list. It has our favorite lunch and dinner menu.

Best Regards,

There was a similar thread recently, where I said hands down the best Fantasyland ride for me is the Matterhorn (DL). If specifically MK, I'd say Peter Pan. Don't have to do it every time, but we ride it when we can.

Problem with Peter Pan is the line. I enjoy it, but not enough for the wait that it usually involves.

Seriously! That line is unbelievable usually.

Mickey's Philharmagic is amazing, I agree. I also love to to Peter Pan even though the lines are long. The part where you are over London is just so neat. Also, I feel like you have to ride it's a small world- even if you are hot, tired, and not in the mood for smiling dolls!

Is Peter Pan an every trip ride for you? We can't usually justify the lines. At least IASW never has any line.

I have never been to WDW without riding it. That's not to say if I go this August and the lines are insane I would stand forever to go on it. It's just always worked out that I've been there when the line was about 30 minutes or less.

Whether a ride is an "every trip" ride also depends on how often you go. It's been so long since we've been, the next we go we'll probably have to ride everything. When we were going several times per year it made more sense to be picky.

Peter Pan does always seem to have a really long line. That's why I waited until MNSSHP to ride it last time. The line during the day was crazy, all day.

The problem we always have with that is that then we feel like we're using prime time for Peter Pan. We could be getting on Space Mountain during that lull!

Space Mountain wasn't open, dsoup, which made that a much easier decision.

LOL @ Millie's study sessions.

Who's EVER not in the mood for smiling dolls?!? mickey iasw is awesome. Definitely one of our favorites. It's actually not all that annoying to me, either -- though I hate it when boats get backed up at the end!

That does help, although then I'd consider BTMRR!
