Character Breakfast Recommendations

Hey folks...I'm starting to plan out my December 2012 trip with my niece and nephew and I'm thinking a character breakfast might be in order. When we were there in 2009, we did the Princess Storybook breakfast in Norway because my niece was 5 at the time and was totally into they Disney princesses. This time my nephew will be 5, and I'm trying to decide on a character breakfast that he might like. His favorite disney movie is Cars and there is no character breakfast for that, so I'm asking the experts....which character breakfast would a 5 year old boy enjoy most?

I think probably Tusker House. They are all dress in safari gear.

I have to agree with scrappy, Tusker House in AK would be the best.

My son is 5 and loves Jake and the Neverland Pirates and rumor is Jake is now at Hollywood and Vine for breakfast and lunch. Of course he also likes the classic five and loves breakfast at Chef Mickey's.

We like Cape May. You get Donald, Minnie and Goofy. Food is as good as other places, but its slightly cheaper. Also a five minute walk from Epcot when done.

I would agree, Cape May is our favorite too. I would even go as far as to say the food it a bit better there than the others, but I think from a 5-year old boys point of view I would probably like Tusker House better. But then again that would depend on the child.

Chef Mickey's is pretty cool. The monorail whizzing by overhead is an added plus.

I would think Tusker House to be my vote on this also. I have heard alot of complaints about Chef Mickey's lately and I think a boy that age might be alittle more into the Safari theme better then any of the others. I deffinately think Cape Mays food is better and the atmosphere is alot less nerve racking. Tusker House can get very loud when the congo line come through. Also Tusker House is know to get all the student tour groups there from around the world, enough said about that or I'll go onto a rant! Guess I didn't help much Kris, sorry.

Sounds like its down to Tusker House or Cape May. My nephew would probably enjoy the safari theme, but it sounds like the food is better at Cape May. Hmm, I'm torn! Thanks for all of the feedback!

I'm kid-less, but if you want my 2 cents on the 2 options you are thinking, I'd bet the young-in will remember the characters more than the food, so I'd put my vote in for whichever characters you are more interested in.

I don't think either of those places would have a sucky breakfast, regardless.

Honestly Kris, I'd probably say go with Tusker House. The food is about equal at both places.

I had breakfast at the Tusker House last Saturday and loved it. Tusker House gets my vote.

Cape May is our favorite! The food is above average, and you're not rushed through. This is my go to Character meal every time.
