Conventions at Disney World

There's no question Disney is the place to go if you want to make your annual convention one of the most memorable ever. The service and quality that the attendees experience, not only make for a great event, but serve as an example to all those employed in the service industries.

Here's the big question though. If you were to attend a convention in Disney, would you let your family tag along? Would you be able to get down to business knowing that in just a couple hours you'd get some park time? confused

I'm going to a convention there this summer! I don't have kids yet but my husband is going too. It's actually for his club. I think it would be hard to have family come if you had a lot of workshops to attend but convention prices are usually lower.

I would definitely bring family along! I went down for a weekend recently without family and missed them so much! I don't like being at Disney though without them.

I didn't have a convention, but before we moved here, I had to come down for a business trip to Orlando (our company had an office here.) Hubs tagged along and spent his time at Disney. It worked out okay, I mean, it was what it was Smile Besides, we were already thinking of moving here, so I knew Disney time might be in our future!

The International Children's Ministries CP conference has there the past several years. I've been several times I have no children but have taken the DW once. I choose one day of the conference as a Disney day.

I also brought my staff a couple times, one year my Special Needs Pastor went without his family. While we were at the conference his wife had taken the kids shopping with her. When checking out at the local grocery store the cashier as where "dad" was the child quickly replied "He's at WDW without us". the next year he brought them along. laugh

LoL... Obviously I'm the odd man out. I have no guilt not bringing along my family.
