CP Breakfast

When: November, the week before Thanksgiving week
Cast: DW, DWs brother, my parents, DS17, DD15, DS13, DD8, myself

I am at the 180 day mark today and tried making an 8:05 AM ADR at CP. This is our first trip and my first ADR ever. I tried to make the ADR at the second it opened up online. First I selected "CP" and "breakfast" and the earliest time it showed was 8:45 AM. I then realized that there was a drop down with actual times so I selected "8:00" rather than just "breakfast" and it gave me 8:25 AM. I took the 8:25, but I am wondering if I should keep it. Will that extra 20 minutes make a difference in putting us behind the crowds? (For those who use easywdw, crowds are rated at a 5 and MK is the most recommended park that day.)

This is meant to be a RD day. We don't mind being a little rushed through the breakfast. Character meals aren't something that we consider important. I do have a DD8, but the other kids are teens. We chose to do CP for the following reasons:
1. To get into the park early and take a few pics.
2. The way our itinerary is working out, we will need to eat breakfast out that morning anyway, and the menu looks appealing.
3. The entire family are pooh fans and have some great memories tied to the pooh characters.

I really wanted the 8:05 ADR, but I guess all of those went to the 180 +10 crowd. (We are staying at WBC). Will an 8:25 ADR put us to far behind the initial crowds? Should I just skip it?

I personally don't think that 20 minutes will make too big of a difference first thing in the morning. Just relax and enjoy your breakfast. What time does the Park open that day?

(and where is WBC?)

20 minutes really isn't a big deal. But, you can always keep checking back and trying to get an earlier time. I am always changing up the plans and changing times on my ADR's.

The park opens at 9 AM that day. I think I will keep the ADR, but keep checking for earlier times. Thanks.

Well, I guess I screwed up when I did it the 2nd time. We have 9 people and when my email confirmation came through it said 8. I am pretty sure I put 9 when I did it. I called and they had to bump me back to 8:25 with 9. I guess that 9th person bumps us over the fire code or something. I am sticking with the 8:25, but I am going to keep trying as we get closer.
