Are any of you full fledged members? I have the free membership. Just wondering if it's worth the $75 fee.

I was gold just get the quarterly magazine which is a work of art. Then I stopped it for some reason. It's borderline worth it to me.

Same here. I was a member for about 2 years. The quarterly magazines are amazing. And supposedly you can get some discounts at WDW, but when I asked at Ghirardellis (which was indeed a participating vendor) they looked at me like I was from Mars and would not give me the discount. Not that that swayed my opinion in any way, but I also just kinda decided not to renew at one point and haven't really missed it.

I only have the free membership myself. Some of the featured stories I get from the weekly newsletters are interesting to read, others not so much.

I signed up as a full member just this year and already love it! One of the perks is 15% off purchases at Disney and I saved over $30 just today getting my Disney fix at the outlet store! mickey Smile I'm excited about the other listed benefits, too and plan to stop by the Members only lounge in Disneyland in August. The magazine is amazing and has a good mix of articles that both my husband and I enjoy.

I've paid small membership fee at various points, but I'm not really sure what level I am/was. Silver maybe? I have a little membership card with a picture of Chip & Dale. I originally signed up because I wanted to enter the D23 Expo art contest and I got a cool pen "autographed" by Walt Disney. I think I renewed one time because there was a particular D23 exclusive pin that I wanted. As for discounts, DVC, Disney Visa, and AP have equaled or exceeded the D23 discount wherever I've checked, so I don't worry to much about what my status is. I think currently I have the free membership maybe? I think it's more relevant if you live in California or visit Disneyland frequently, but for WDW, there's relatively little benefit.

yeah, I just reviewed the gold membership. The magazine is the only thing of value to me. Last time I renewed they sent me a watch that was such a piece of junk that I just tossed it in the trash.

I was a Gold member for two years and now I just have the free membership. I think that if I lived in Orlando or Anaheim it would be more worth it to me, but when we had to cut back on extra expenses it was the first thing to go.

I am Gold mostly for the magazine. Started as Silver as my local Borders Books carried the mags, once those stores closed, I upgraded to Gold and have been for the past few years. I have every magazine and I'll be honest, I think I've only opened one. They are beautiful and filled with information. I am treating them like original star wars toys. If I happened to have a double of one of the magazines, i'll read the double but most of the time I just put them away after enjoying the covers.
