Disney DINKS

Hi Everyone!
We are Disney Dinks. (Duel Income No Kids)
Married at the Yacht Club Gazebo, 8 DCL cruises, DVC @ SSR and BLT.

We have done several "Nephew" trips, but just got back from our first Niece "princess" trip. Our next trip though is all us....BCV and eating around the world!

Glad to find the Grown Up section, we love Disney as much by ourselves as with kids.

welcome to our little piece of heaven....Disney heaven that is. My friend and I will be going in October 2013 just two girls looking to have some fun Disney adult style.

welcome DH and I are DINKs ourselves. Personally, I think WDW is more fun for adults than for kids! You're going to love it here. Super fun bunch of fellow Disney fan(atic)s! mickey

welcome I guess if you're Disney Dinks, that makes me a Disney Sikko,( Single income, kickiing kids out, don't worry,.. they're both old enough to kick out). The DW, and I love Disney ( although my wife tolerates my enthusiasm a little more than I need to hers). Hope you enjoy this site as much as I have. I find it very informative, and entertaining.

mickey Welcome! Lots of us empty nesters here, who are indeed lovin the World sans kiddos. As much fun as it was with my kids, I agree that I am having WAY more fun now doing all the stuff my kiddos were not able to tolerate. Like browsing stores, seeing ALL the shows (a bunch of times), sitting on a bench, etc. So much Disney fun to be had.

Hello Susan and welcome to our happy little world! That's what this place is really all about, doing Disney as Grownups. We took our kids when they were young, but since they have grownups and made families of there own, it's all us baby and we love it! We have done the family thing with the granddaughter and loved it, and we will do again, eventually, but just me and Scrappy (DW), and maybe friends that we take now and then, that's the way we love to do WDW the most. Once again, welcome "welcome to this happy place!"

Ditto - I nearly fell off my seat!!! As a newcomer to this site ourselves - welcome.
if I could add to the label - we are DINKS with 4 legged kids - 4 horses, 6 dogs, and 1 cat - does that make us DIPS?
Dual Income w/ Pets? And I can argue that we (or I should say I - keep my wife out of it) somewhat resemble that label also - hahahaha!!!!!!

OHHHH! Good one! We're DIPS as well. 4 cats and a puppy planned for next year! And I totally include my husband in that title right along with me (he did marry ME after all!) laugh laugh

DINKS and DIPS here. Dual incomes, no kids, 14 cats.

I don't think I should ever take nieces/nephews/etc. with me to WDW. When the kids hit the inevitable midday crash, I'd be all, "Suck it up! We haven't done half the park yet!" (I tend to get a little antsy with people who don't want to tour commando-style.) Well, maybe if the kids came with parents in tow. Then I could say, "Fine, take your kids back to the hotel for a nap or swim. I'll go ride Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean a dozen times till you get back."

First post and already creating new terms. Impressive. Realizing that I am a SINK though. Not sure how I feel about that. Anyways, welcome to our happy spot on the web.

I miss being DINKs, now we would be DISKs (Double Income Single Kid). Luckily our 2.5 year old is as into disney as we are, and he also has grandparents who are more than willing to take him for a week at a time

The term we have up here for Double Income Little Dog OwnerS, would not be appropriate for the boards, but you can figure it out wink wink
