Disneybounding

DisneyBounding is when Disney fans dress up as contemporary versions of their favorite characters. It's basically closet cosplay at its finest - prepare swoon with jealousy.

I looked and searched for this topic but I didn't find one so I made it.

I am going to Disneyland in October and was thinking/planning on Disneybounding as Mr. Smee from Peter Pan and Goofy. I was hoping to get some feedback and or tips on what I could do to make these characters pop more. Any and all suggestions would be amazing!

omg I'm disney bounding as Mr. Smee on my upcoming trip! I've been slacking and haven't posted any pictures yet but thats so funny that we're doing the same thing. I'm wearing a black high-waisted skirt (because I'm a weirdo who prefers dresses and skirts while in the parks) with a blue and white striped shirt and a red headband. I like your idea of the visor though. So cute muchlove

EmFord thank you so much, I love him as a character and I loved Bob Hoskins as Smee so I thought I would honor him!
Goofy is just a character that is cute and my hair is going to be his ears.

We Disneybound all the time in our house! My daughter Katie just put together an adorable Peter Pan that she wore out this weekend. My kids are big Cosplayers in general, so Disneybounding is a daily thing around these parts. LoL!

Very cute Goofy and Smee!

Great Donald outfit!

I still have my partially made Terence costume I was working on for MNSSHP before we changed our trip to January. I may take the acorn hat i made on the trip.

My daughter will be doing a different princess for each day of our trip. It was a blast planning out her "modern day outfits" and accessories to convey the message of which princess she is. She is so excited...now I just have to finish sewing her Rapunzel skirt....sigh.
