Disneyland logistics questions - Help very much appreciated!

Hey there everyone! I'd love to post a Disneyland pre-trip, but I'm still wading through info! If anyone has a rough guesstimate on the answers to some of these questions, I'd be most appreciative!

Arrival day - We've actually bumped our arrival up a day. We'll be leaving Tuesday night after Benn finishes work and flying nonstop BWI --> LAX. Assuming an on-time arrival, we'll be arriving at 9:10pm. Does anyone know what we should expect to find traffic-wise from LAX to Anaheim around that time of day on a Tuesday night?

Airport transportation - We're planning to take Super Shuttle from LAX to Disneyland. It's $34. Any better/ more economical ideas? I feel like that's a pretty good price, but I'm always open to suggestions for "trimming the fat" on costs that don't increase my Disney fun. wink Any idea how long it might take to make that trip? Have you used Super Shuttle in the past? Have you found them to be reliable?

Arrival night hotel - I booked the Eden Roc Inn & Suites for the first night because we don't want to waste money when we're probably not going to get there until like 11:00 and we'll leave the hotel by 8am. Any opinions? Reviews were split on Trip Advisor, but it was only $70/night including taxes and resort fees and we're literally going to sleep, shower, check out.

Moving to Grand Californian - The route from Eden Rock to Grand Californian looks very walkable--cross the street and walk .4 miles where there. It's on the corner of Katella Ave. and Disneyland Dr./S. West Street and good sidewalks and crosswalks seem to be available. Anyone know of a reason why that won't work?

Magic Mornings - We'll be buying 3-day park hoppers (I'm pretty sure that's what I want to do) and we're staying at Grand Californian on points. What does that mean for us on Magic Mornings? Can we use one every day? Do we have to choose one day to do Magic Morning? I don't quite understand exactly how that works.

Transport to cruise ship - Has anyone tried using Uber for transportation needs? What are your thoughts on it? I can save over $40 off the cost of Super Shuttle or taxi if we use Uber...but I'm not sure how I feel about that service.

Thanks for your input!

I will be keeping an eye out for answers for my trip in May. Be careful with Uber. I saw a news story the other day about a woman who used Uber and was charged over $400. The ride itself wasn't bad but then they added on an upcharge that was 6 times the fare.

I took Super Shuttle. It took forever. It was on my trip report. Haven't you been paying attention? I knew I should have given a quiz. biggrin

Magic mornings are scheduled each day at one of the parks only.

Haha!! That's right you did say that. I was planning to suck it up and take a cab, but then we decided to fly to LA Tuesday night instead of Wednesday morning, so we'll probably take Superslow Shuttle so help to make up for the added hotel cost.

Looking at the park hours info on Disneyland.com, it seems that Magic Mornings and Extra Magic Hours are different things? And some days both happen at the same park? Mucho confused confused

Eek! I was nervous about it because it scares me when other people are in control of the vehicle. It didn't occur to me that they could basically try to rob you and you can't really do anything about it.

They tell you at the hotel the night before what time you can get in the park. I went by that. It is confusing.

I've only flown into LAX once and it took us about an hour to get to Disneyland, in moderately heavy traffic. It's not a pretty ride either. I think your traffic should be moving pretty easily at 9pm on a Tuesday night so it may take a little less time than that. Becks and use Super Shuttle in San Diego in July and our airport to hotel trip went fine, however the one back to the airport not so great. I think it completely depends on your driver.

As long as you don't mind schlepping your stuff, it sound work. The area surrounding Disneyland is very walkable and the Grand Californian has easy street access.

I was so confused over their Magic Mornings Magic Hours Early Magic - they called it different things I think for each park. I just called the front desk after we got to our room and had them explain it to me in simple language I could understand Smile.
