Do you always use fastpass?

We've found that the parks have been getting more and more crowded and we're relying on fastpasses more often over the past few years. There used to be a time that we didn't need them at all! Do you always use fastpass no matter what?

Last year was my first experience with fastpass. We were there during a less crowded time and only used them twice during the week. I think if I were there during a busier time, I would take advantage of the fastpass.

We rarely use them. In fact usually we only use them for two rides, Soarin and Toy Story.

I guess the only other one I could add to that list for me is on occasion,Test Track.

We use them for everything we possibly can. I don't like to wait in lines, and our "touring group" is limber enough to run around the parks to get them. I will only do standby if the wait is 20min or fewer, and thats really only if I HAVE to. That being said, we don't go during busy times.

We don't usually need to use them because my father gets the disability pass so we don't have to wait in lines. But last time we went without him we got fastpasses for Space Mountain and something else I can't remember. mickey

We only get them if we can pretty much go on a ride twice in a row. Or for example, my husband will get one for Space Mountain and then we will go ride Buzz Lightyear. when we are done he will go do Space Mountain while my son and I walk around.

We usually go during slow times so we don't normally need them.

We get them even if the lines aren't long. If a line is particularity short (say 10 minutes) we will get the FP before we ride and then go back later to ride again! Usually we go during busier times so the FP is pretty necessary.

I think the Fast Pass is utilized more and better during peak and moderate seasons. When we go... its more of a why not, except for Toy Story Mania. Even when we go when the longest line we would wait in would be like 15-20 minutes... Fast Pass's go out around 11am to noon for that ride. Its insane! Dont get me wrong.... its a blast, but I wont wait for it over 20 minutes again.

Sometimes you have to wait in line just to get the FP. TSM is one of those. It's worth it for me though. I don't wait over 20 minutes for anything either. There is just to much to see and experience to spend my time waiting in line. I wish the FP distribution was outside in front of the Land pavillion for Soarin' though. Or at least on the first level somewhere. What a bottleneck to get down there to get a FP and back out of the building.

We have a bad habit of collecting them and then never using them. If we're by a ride that we could get a FP for we tend to grab it "just in case." As Karen said, Some rides like TSM are pretty much hopeless without one.

I KNOW!!! I have no idea why they did that, it is insane getting in and out of there. Not to mention, it can be kind of dangerous with the stairs and escalators (has anyone noticed that at lease one is always broken down?).

We use fastpass for anything that has a wait longer than 30 minutes.

I don't usually use them but since I'll be going for a shorter period this time I may have to. Plus it's summer and I'm sure the crowds will be crazy so I better get used to using them.

I'd like to give my vote to this as well. In fact I'd love a central kiosk where you just saw the wait times for everything and could get your fastpasses. It would really make the system wonderful.

In the summer, I recommend going in the mornings and then taking it easy during the afternoons. The heat & people are much less bad in the morning.

Then you can give them to stressed out looking families and make their day!

I like to do that.

Last August 2-9, the parks were not very crowded. We needed fastpass for TSM, SOARIN, and RRC and that was about it. Even splash mountain was 15-20 wait...it was very unusual. I think because the week after started the free dining maybe.

I plan to do just that Smile Neither my friend or I can't stand the humidity for too long.
