Do you ever have Disney Resort Hotel Withdrawal?

Have you ever really been in a funk and miss a certain Disney Resort Hotel? I am really missing Port Orleans Riverside. I just LOVE this resort and am so happy they have refurbished it. The new room decor is beautiful! The whole resort is so relaxing and just cannot get enough of their Azelea bushes and Magnolia trees. I go on the websites featuring this resort and now I'm DYING to get back there. Looks like our next trip we won't be staying there unless French Quarter is booked. That's a wonderful resort too but there is just something about Riverside that makes be long for it...

Yes. My savannah view balcony at AKL. early morning coffee... Late night beverages . . . I go there often in my day dreams. Miss that place.

We used to "mix it up" a lot more than we do now, so we wind up staying at the same places pretty regularly. I'd really love to get back to the AKL which is one of my favorites, but we haven't stayed at in forever. At least we visit it pretty regularly, so my withdrawal isn't too bad.

Thats what im missing right now. The past couple years we have had the pool view. Its a nice view, and its the closest to food and the main door out... but I wanna watch my hockey on the balcony at night with the animals out there! I miss that!

I miss Bay Lake Tower - looking out at Bay Lake or getting a glimpse of the castle. I miss seeing the water pageant on the Lagoon too.....

I just noticed yesterday...the azaleas are in bloom right now Smile I bet it's really lovely over there. The river is fantastic. I just can't say enough about how awesome the resorts are, the theming, the attention to detail.

Every day of my life!! It's especially bad when I get back from a vacation and realize I don't have a maid to clean the house and breakfast isn't already waiting for me at the end of the hall. LoL... such rude awakenings.

I definitely miss and dream of the disney resorts! Last month, we stayed at PO Riverside for the first time. What a dream with the river and the trees and buildings! Love it! I do love PO French Quarter as well...
You try to explain to people why it is so worth it to stay on property and some people just do not understand it! You will never feel so completely enveloped in vacation mode unless you do. Who wouldn't want to go to bed every night and wake up every morning still feeling completely surrounded by Disney!?!

I am missing my cabin at fort wilderness right now!!!Ahhhh the smell of pine and the whoo whooo whooo of that crazy owl in the trees above the cabin all night keeping us awake but not having to worry cause I didn't have to get up for work. The whizzing sound the golf cart makes when we drove down the road to trails end to get our morning coffee. I even miss those wild turkeys we saw wandering around and they were a site to see each day.OH how I wish I was still there! muchlove

Ooooh I miss that too! I used to love renting a golf cart and ridding around. My little sister used to call them "zipper-doos" when she was a toddler. Somehow the name in our family stuck and to this day Golf Carts are called "zipper-doos". I haven't stayed at Fort Wilderness since about 1984. I would love to stay as an adult with my kids.

Fort Wilderness is wonderful!!!! I love how private the cabins are and how quiet it is there. I love that name "zipperdoos" laugh

If I close my eyes I'm back on my AKL balcony, resort mug in hand filled with Sprite, watching the Wilderbeast run in circles around a tree cluster.....
