Doctor Doom's Fear Fall: Lame ride or Lamest Ride?

I have to say that this was probably the least impressive thing in all of Universal Studios. Am I missing something that was worse?

Hmm... there might have been a few in Seuss Landing that were worse... Laughing out loud I agree, this is one of the unfortunately bad Universal rides, but it's probably a good one for the pre-teen set who are just getting their legs for thrill rides.

It was OK, but you can find a less tall version of the same ride at most travelling funfairs (I think you call them a carnaval) here which takes some of the edge off it.

Yeah, not worth waiting in line. Once you've been on one, you've been on most of them. There are some with interesting variations but most are identical.

I don't understand why some of them don't drop more quickly. People think it's going to be scary, so they might as well actually make it scary.

I find the ones that take you all the way to the top, where you just sit there not knowing when you're going to fall, are scarier. I've been on numerous variations though and didn't think any of them were particularly good. It's a ride I'll most always skip. ToT by contrast, I will not miss...ever.

Agreed on this! ToT has got to be the best "drop" ride in the world. The rest of them have no themeing, so the lack of "thrill" makes them pretty useless.

I think the anticipation of the drop is the best part for sure. They should really toy with you more on most rides. ToT gets it just right!
