Dream vs. Magic

Can anyone compare these two ships? Has anyone been on both?

My first Disney Cruise was on the Dream and she was absolutely magnificent. I'm booked next year on the Magic, and I'm a little worried that I'll be disappointed in the older, smaller ship. I'm not taking the kids along on this cruise, how are the adult only areas on the Magic?

How are the restaurants? I know that I won't have Remy to enjoy, but with an extra day at Sea on this cruise I'm hoping to be able to do Palo for brunch as well as dinner. How is Main Dining? What's the spa like on this ship?

Any input would be great!

I haven't been on either. YET! In February I will be able to report back on the Magic, but I just want to put your mind at ease about a smaller ship. Most of our cruises have been with RCCL and they have been fabulous. Our last cruise was on their new ship that is the biggest cruise boat afloat. I do have to say that even though it had so much more to do, there wasn't anything really missing from the smaller ships and I found that the ship was SO BIG it almost didn't even feel like I was cruising at all! Yeah we had the zip line and the huge rock wall, the merry go round and the outdoor shows at the back of the ship, but I really missed the intimacy of the smaller ships and being able to get to know your ship mates better. Seemed like there was just to many people and to much going on a lot of times. When it came out we thought bigger MUST be better, but I have learned that I absolutely love and prefer the smaller ships. Smile
