Drinks Only..

Having just read the review of Brown Derby Lounge at DHS made me wonder if any of you good people have a favourite restaurant for drinks only..I like 50's tune in lounge for a beer and also Rose & Crown, but I'd like to try the Derby next year..Also am I correct in saying that you can have a drink only at CG in Contemporary Resort.?...

I loved stopping at Tune In last trip along with Tambu. Next trip BDL is on my must try list. Not sure about CG. But isn't that all you have any way? waiting

I believe you can stop in there for a drink only - I've read reviews of people sitting in their lounge area waiting for tables, so that would lead me to believe you can sit and grab some liquid supper if that interests you Smile

I like drinking around the world! I love La Cava. Yes, there is sometimes a line but it's a cool line out of the sun and heat!

I also like the sake bar in Japan. There are no seats but it is wonderful.

I like Sanaa's bar for a cocktail also.

Yes! The lounge is still there and you can go up for drinks. It's one of my favorite stops on the monorail crawl!

We enjoy having drinks in the lounges at Il Mulino, Bluezoo, and The Wave. They have good appetizers as well.

Sanaa and La Cava definitely get high praise from me. Also I haven't been to the WDW one but Trader Sam's in Disneyland was the most fun I've ever had at a Disney bar so I can't wait to try out the new one!

Raglan Road is awesome after the dinner service is over. Good drinks, good music. And there's pub grub if you want a little something with your drinks.

My Future Hubby and I want to do this when we go on our honeymoon! Do you know if they have drinks that are Gluten Free or wines and stuff instead of beer? I have always wanted to do this but I have either been too young and the last time I went when I was old enough I just had surgery so I was avoiding large amounts of spirits wink lol.

To answer the question for the post. I haven't had that much experience drinking at Walt Disney World yet. But the few places I have, have been at the pools. The bar at the Boardwalk Pool is really nice and I love the theming there as well. And I also think (or they used to) have a beer cart outside the ESPN club where you could get a beer and sit on the boardwalk which is really nice as well.

Not sure about GF beverages but there are tons of wine around the WS. I am not a beer drinker so I never pay attention to that at all!
