Driving Through Northern Florida

So, we're driving in June and I was working on our plan yesterday. Doing things like mapping out the Starbucks locations along our route. LOL... you know, the important stuff.

My question to those who have driven is this. Is there anything interesting that we "must see" along I-75 through Northern Florida?? Or should we just put the pedal to the metal for the last 3 hours and get to Disney!

Personally, I think the area around Ocala and Gainsville is super-gorgeous! But I will always be an equestrian at heart - horses or no! I think there are some natural spring areas along the I-75 corridor but knowing you - throw the hammer down baby!

P.S

Very nice 'bucks drive through in Tifton, Ga. About an hour north of Valdosta.

The Tifton one is hard to miss. Scenery aside - the drive through northern Florida goes like this in my head - Woot - State line! Drivedrivedrive Ooohh, Ocala is pretty. Lots of horses. I'd live here. Drivedrivedrive Where's the darned turnoff for the turnpike?! Oh, there it is!! (Shifts into warp 9) Almost there....almost there! Why do you torture me with billboards, Mickey?! Haha!! Rte 429 ahoy! (10 more miles) head explodes when landmarks are recognized. Wild happiness ensues.

I would say no and keep on driving! I am from NorthWest Florida, so I think it's boring!

I can't imagine anything that would make me want to stop once I was that close to Disney!
