Dueling Dragons in Harry Potter's Wizarding World

I'm a little concerned about Dueling Dragons becoming part of Harry Potter's Wizarding World. I doubt they'll change the ride up much, but the queue for that ride was amazing and interesting. I know we're all kind of Disney World folks here, but I had a real fondness for that coaster. Does anyone else like it as much as I do and does anyone else care if the queue is revamped?

I love that ride. It's what we ride most at Universal (when we actually go). The queue line is dark and creepy, but not EXACTLY Harry Potter-ish. It's a little more pirate-ish. I'm intrigued about what they'll do.

Good question! From what I've read, the name of the ride will now be "Dragon Challenge" according to the Disney Blog (http://thedisneyblog.com/2009/07/26/wizarding-world-of-harry-potter-attraction-dining-and-shop-names/)

We recall that dragons are very much a part of Harry Potter in the first few books, so I don't imagine too much will have to change (besides the paint and the fire and ice theme -- maybe they'll name them after Gryffindor and Slytherin). I agree that the queue line might have to be made a little more "magical" instead of death-ridden.

That line is the longest I've ever seen. (The actual area, not the number of people waiting) If they didn't have a "re-ride" short cut I would find it very unpleasant to consider walking all the way back around if I wanted to ride it twice.

I'm excited about Harry Potter's Wizarding World and Dueling Dragons is my preferred ride in any part of Universal, so I'm hoping the marriage will be good for both.
