Ok so after watching the parade (online, unfortunately), here are some first impressions (SPOILER ALERT). I haven't been reading much about the parade because I wanted to be surprised, so maybe other people knew some of these things already.

Favorite Float: Maleficent. Holy crap. It breaths fire.

Favorite new character inclusion: Rapunzel

Best surprise: Ok there were 2. Elsa and Anna were worked into the lead float. Also, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather!

Least favorite part: I don't like the color palette. I think it has too many different tones and shades and that makes it a little bit...muddled?

Overall, I like the new parade. I feel like it could use another villain float. Maybe a Cruella deVil? Ursula would be cool, but there are already giant Ursula's in the two Little Mermaid attractions.

I've heard that they may be working on getting Anna and Elsa their very own float for the parade. I love it. I got all kinds of excited today and turned into a little child watching parts of the parade.

www.insidethemagic.net has posted a video of the full parade. Well worth the look.

Are there any that wouldn't watch the video first, waiting instead to see it live for the first time?

Personally, I think watching the video only adds to the anticipation. We leave in 69 days!!

I am trying my very best not to watch the video, I've taken great pleasure in looking at the pictures but as stupid as this might sound I don't want to hear the music, I have a strange feeling I may cave in before September but I'm trying not too!!!!

And with regards to the anticipation that's also a bit what I'm worried about that I may peak at my excitement of a new parade way too quick!!!!!

We're going to be at MK on Saturday to watch it live so I'm not going to watch the video~Even though I Really want to! Whenever WDW adds something new, I prefer to experience it live and not look at many pictures, and definitely no videos.
But if I didn't get to go to WDW every month then I'm sure I wouldn't have the self control to not watch videos and look at more pictures laugh

I'm normally not a big parade girl, but I'm actually really excited for this one! I've looked at tons of float pictures online, but I'm going to hold off on the video...I'd rather see it live in September first!

I do not want to see it first on video. Once I have seen it live then I will watch the video. I am like that with everything new in Disney. I do not want to see video of the the new Mine Train ride either.

Agreed, I have tried not to see too many photos, just a quick look, have read that it goes from Frontier land which is also fine. But want it to have that special WOW moment in Sept/Oct

Wow, I'm surprised that no more people want to see the video. I guess to some that it's something like a spoiler to a book or movie.
While I would not want to know how a book or a movie ends, for some reason, this is different. I've been looking forward to seeing FoF live in May, but I wasn't going to pass up the chance to see it now!
Being an "advanced amateur" in the videography business, I've enjoyed recording different events in the park, especially parades. Seeing how insidedthemagic.com made their simple (but excellent) video, I'm already trying to come up with scenarios to record this (and other) parades using multiple cameras. But alas, I'm limited on the amount of camera gear I can check onto the plane!
