Yes! Especially the "STAR WARS IS RUINED/STAR WARS IS SAVED!" one.

I think the 1000 Acre Woods mash up is my favorite.

The only one of these that I don't really like is the last one with Lucas. I think that the cartoonist used poor taste and probably lacked in research when creating the cartoon.

Yes, I know that the quotes are accurate, but Lucas has said that he's going to be donating his profits from the sale to education funding. It's not like he sold out for more cash to line his personal coffers. George Lucas is part of the collective of billionaires that made something called the 'Giving Pledge' and have sworn to give the bulk of their wealth away. Lucas plans to be dedicated full time to philanthropy and making this world a better place.

Now he said he will be donating the 2 billion that he gets in cash from Disney. The other 2 is in stock which I assume is going to be his nest egg and living. But yeah... those quotes are accurate. I remember when he said he was doing 1-3 and refused to do 7-9. I wanted 7-9 not Vader as a kid... lol.

Mase - Can you imagine getting $2B in cash!? Just the thought kind of blows my mind.

Oh I know... I was telling Jess last night that it amazed me that this man. Who is already worth billions... will be getting another 2 billion from Disney and is just going to give it away. The point I was trying to make is... usually people who are worth that wont just give up there money like that, but he is willing to just give it up. Its like getting a bonus at work, and not using it for what you want but you give it to your favorite charity.

One heck of a bonus! I can imagine though that for most people with income at that level that there's a sort of tipping point where you realize that you will live well for the rest of your life, as will your descendants, and you really don't need anything else. Why not give it to people who haven't been as lucky. I've dreamed about winning a big lottery before, but even that doesn't come close to the kind of monetary wealth George Lucas has. It boggles.

I would hope that after a certain point of income that they would do something like this. Just wish it would come our way more often! lol

This is my favorite. When I first saw Star Wars in 2nd grade, all my friends were gaga over Luke Skywalker. Not me, I was a Han Solo girl.

I agree with you JoAnn about Han Solo, but I won't tell you how old I was when Star Wars came out in 1977. wink
