Good Morning!

Hello there- I'm Nefferz and I'm glad to meet you.
I love surfing around and finding new Disney Boards and new folks to get to know. I'm a single mom of two teenaged boys, one of whom is a freshman in college this year. Wow. When did THAT happen.. The younger of the two still thinks it's okay to hang out with mom, including heading off to Disney for a mom/son trip in December. His fourth, my umpteenth.

I've just begun 'planning' my first solo trip for September of 2014.

Looking forward to digging around the site a bit and perhaps getting to know some of you folks. I'm on a couple of other forums as well- always as Nefferz. I'm such a creature of habit.

My son and I will be staying at POP this time around. We'll also be going to the Christmas Party- the first time for both of us. I can't wait to see all the decorations.

I'm particularly fond of the Third Doctor- Jon Pertwee. I'd have to say he's my favorite. He was quite a sharp dresser and I loved the old car. Betsy, I think her name was. David Tennant runs a VERY close second. I watched a lot of Tom Baker too- but then.. didn't we all? He was the Doctor the entire time I was in High School, I think.

I started watching again (ok, I became addicted to it again) when it came back with the ninth Doctor and Rose, then Tennant, of course- *swoon* and I'm okay with number 11, though he's not my favorite.

As far as decorating, Cookie- I have to agree with you. I liked the older ones better.

If you really want to have some fun, wear a Dr. Who tee shirt while touring Epcot's Great Britain. The CMs come right up and start talking to you about it!

I traveled solo several times to the World this summer! It was great fun - I LOVED it. I am not anti-companion or anything, but it is so awesome to go at your own pace -either crazy fast, or turtle slow.

I get to do a solo day trip next year and I am so excited for that. I like getting to do what I want, when I want, no distractions, and meeting lots of new people (cast members too)
