Guest Costume Guidelines For Star Wars Galaxy's Edge

For those who love to dress up in the parks, Disney has given a few guidelines for what Disneybounds and Batuu inspired clothings will be acceptable to wear once Star Wars Galaxy's Edge opens!

Fashions Guidelines For Star Wars Galaxy's Edge

While costumes may not be worn by guests 14 years of age or older, appropriate bounding"dressing in outfits inspired by Star Wars"is permitted. The following guidelines will help you arrive to Batuu in style. Proper footwear must be worn.

  • Bounding: piecing together traditional clothing items that when worn together, serve as a recognizable tribute to Star Wars characters

  • Batuuan attire: wearing outfits inspired by the villagers of Batuu"muted tones, vests, layers, etc.

It is worth noting that some of the costume and clothing items that will be sold in the new land DO NOT meet these standards and will not be able to be worn. I see a potential problem in that, but I don't have to police it so hey - whatever.

Forbidden Gear Includes

  • All robes or military-style attire
  • Masks, face paint, elaborate headwear, blasters or holsters (lightsabers are allowed) or hard items such as body armor, helmets or kneepads
  • Full character suits

I think it is really silly that they will sell the robes but people will not able to wear those robes in the land.

I agree, but I also understand the safety and security issue that the robes pose.

Hummmmm, so now 2 things will drive me out of my mind....

People who wear Harry Potter robes in the park which I have seen

People who can't wear SW robes that they buy in the park.....

If you allow one, allow the other.

ps, I ALWAYS wanna call those "others" out LOL

I just want to walk up to them and whisper "wrong park" right in their ears and run off laugh

So I guess the Princess Leia metal bikini outfit is completely out of the question.
