Hi Catherine -

In 2009, Joe ordered me the Mickey and Pals Big Birthday Wish package. It was fantastic! But I know it was expensive. Of course, I am worth it - just ask me! laugh

Lots of very cool stuffs - imagine opening the room door to this:

The very first year we went together in 2001, he got the Disney Welcome package, which was really fun as well.

A friend of mine sent us an engagement basket this summer when we arrived. It had two mickey champagne glasses, a bottle of champagne, some cheese, crackers, and chocolate. It was cute! I'll see if I can dig up a picture!

We have both sent and received the same basket ChipnDale fan mentioned. I also received this from our son and dil last year for my birthday. It was really pretty cool.

Oh wow!! I love the footprints!!?!? Those are adorable. Jeff, do you remember what was in that basket?

I never ordered a basket but on our honeymoon some friends of ours pulled their money together and got us one..I can't exactly remember what it was called but it had champagne and a picture frame and some chocolates. It was waiting for us when we got home from the parks one day..it was a great surprise!

Has anyone gotten a gift basket for a birthday? We are heading to WDW this week for my daughter's 5th birthday...I would like to do something, but yet have it be affordable...

Wow - that is beautiful too! Thanks to all for sharing pics - what a neat surprise to have waiting for you! We've never had a gift basket, but on our stay for my mom's 60th, there was a beautiful little amenity in our room, complete with white chocolate Mickey and truffles and chocolates.

Tori - have you told them at the hotel that it's your daughter's bday? Be sure to do that if you haven't, and you'll probably end up receiving some sort of complimentary amenity, too. Can't waiti to hear all about your trip!

Tori....they will give her a badge that says it's her birthday and if she wears it cast members everywhere will say happy birthday to her....at some restaurants they will give her special birthday desserts and other special things.

Yes be sure to do that! We went for Dave's birthday and he got a card signed by his favorite character, balloons and confetti all left in the room and a phone call from his favorite character...and he's a grown man.

I haven't ordered a Disney gift basket yet but I already ordered different gift hampers already. I think such hampers are a great opportunity to rejoice friends and family by giving them a gift basket. I will definitely check the Disney gift basket because I think this would be a great gift for my little cousins.

Oh that's so neat! It's a flower arrangement right? Are those white roses they used to make the "icing"?

Yes, they are roses. I have to admit, at first I was not really sure if it was a cake or an arrangement.

It's beautiful...but it totally makes me want cake laugh I have the same problem with candles that smell like food. I can't have them in the house because they make me hungry. Apparently, I'm very easy to persuade!
