Hi There!!

Hi there everybody! I've been using this site for awhile I've just never taken the time to introduce myself. I'm Heather and my husband and I are going on our Disney Honeymoon in September muchlove we are both very excited and I am counting the days!!! This is the first trip that he and I have taken just the 2 of us everything else has been with our families so I think that is adding to the magic of our trip and we couldn't think of a more magical place to go than Disney World!!!! If anybody has any suggestions for us as things that we should do on our Disney Honeymoon I would love to hear about them!!!

Hi and welcome!

Congratulations on for upcoming wedding and disney on Laughing out loud there are so many things you can do that are romantic and perfect for a honeymoon, have a peek at the board for weddings, honeymoon and romantic for lots of ideas. A personal favourite of mine would be a wishes boat trip, you go out with a skippered boat and watch the fireworks from the lagoon in front of MK. Can be a bit pricey but it's your honeymoon, perfect time to splurge Wink

Xxxx

Hello, welcome and congratulations! When in Sept will you be headed to Disney? Hubby and I went to WDW for our honeymoon, and we will be going back for our 21st anniversary Sept 17-22. (We go every 7 years whether he wants to or not. laugh )

My biggest and best tip for a romantic vacation is to just live in the moment with each other. No Twitter, no Facebook, no texting, no WDWFG. You'll have plenty of time to do all that when you get back. Enjoy all the sights, sounds, aromas and flavors together as you start this new chapter in your lives together.

Congrats on picking a Disneymoon! My husband and I did the same thing 5 years ago, and we had an absolute blast! One suggestion I would make is take your time and let it all soak in. After the craziness of a wedding, its nice to move at a more relaxed pace. Definitely wear the Happily Ever After buttons (both of you). We got free snacks, good spots for some of the shows and I swear the good tables at some of the restaurants. Plus all of the Cast Members congratulate you, which makes you feel extra special!

stars Welcome!!

I agree with the previous posters - go slow and savor the little bits of magic that pop up. If you can, try to get a dinner reservation at California Grill and request a window. Let them know it is your honeymoon. Or Narcoossee's. Either would be so special!!

You also could try to get some help from your resort concierge? (Depending on where you are staying). We were at AKL and I wanted to surprise my sweetie at dinner at Cali Grill. We already had the ADR, and I had previously contacted the chef and asked for a special dessert (sugar free but chocolate loaded!) They were great and created a rich cake with ganache and . . . Oh, anyway, the concierge made a call for me to get flowers to the table and got my ADR moved to prime fireworks time AND got us at the window. It never hurts to ask!

We really just enjoy quiet alone moments - and seek out places to make that happen!!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your wedding and Disneymoon!! So exciting. September is a great time to visit the World as crowds are generally lower and the weather is warm. It may rain a bit during the afternoon, but hopefully it won't last long. Ask away if you need any assistance!

Hi Everyone! Thank you for the warm welcome! We will be in Disney from September 5th-13th we are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. We are kind of on a budget. We got married on December 21st 2013 and we couldn't afford to go on the honeymoon right after the wedding so that is why we are going in September (also we hear the crowds are lower awesome ) both of us have been to Disney before my husband has been a few times I've only been once this is the first time for us together. This has been the most fun I have ever had planning a trip and like i keep telling my husband i have put more time and effort into planning our Disney Honeymoon than i put into planning our wedding laugh Neither of us are very romantic people so we don't plan on doing a lot of that kind of stuff we are planning on doing some away from everything time and I have however told him that the bride and groom ears and happily ever after buttons are a must! BarbaraB we have talked about your idea of unplugging and that is our plan the only reason we'll even be taking a phone to the park with us is for the My Disney Experience app. I have also found an idea on Pintrest for kissing passport for the world showcase in Epcot that my sister is going to help me make before we go and I'm really looking forward to filling that biggrin

Here is one of my favorite pictures from our wedding! This is how i spend most of my time looking at him muchlove
