Holidays in WDW for the first time!!

This December will be the first time that I am in WDW for the holiday season(I have covered all of the others). I love Christmas and have wanted to do this since I was a kid. I just wanted to reach out and ask what advice or "must do's" does anyone have. I already purchased our MVMCP tickets, but the rest of our time is wide open. Well with the exception of our meals, as we booked all of them at the 180 mark. I thank all of you guys in advance and am looking forward to the feedback

Hello Eric and welcome. Well the best advise I can give other then MVMCP is to visit the other resorts and check out all the Christmas decorations.

The candle light processional was a family favorite.

I agree with Mrhubs and resort hop. Especially the Grand Floridian and Boardwalk.

Check out the resorts and watch the Candlelight processional...It is awesome!

Where are you guys dining at?

Just being in Disney during Christmas is magical in itself. The atmosphere is like no other and the decorations are beautiful!

welcome Eric. I have never been there at Christmas but I have heard that the Osborne Lights display at DHS is great.

Yes, you definitely have to check out the Osborne lights @ DHS. AMAZING!! I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.

I love Disney at Christmas time. I agree with what the others have said.

It is just beautiful everywhere you look. The resorts are amazing and unique. The Osborne lights are incredible. Nothing like that place all decked out for the holidays. muchlove

I also love the storytellers around the World Showcase in Epcot in each country. A nice cultural snapshot of holiday observations or legendary tales from those particular countries, and sometimes foods too!

We will be dining at Ragland Road, Chefs de France, O'hana, Be our Guest (lunch and Dinner), Jiko, V&A (our Christmas Gift to each other) and a variety of quick services based on locations. We are also trying to squeeze in a night at California Grill.

Candlelight and Osborne lights are must dos, but be sure to pick up a schedule in Epcot as well. Many of the countries have some special Christmas events at certain times.

The Osborne Lights are absolutely amazing. My husband and I go to Disney every November or December to enjoy the Christmas
lights. Main Street in the Magic Kingdom at night is also beautiful. They have the castle loaded with white lights & the castle changes colors. It is a must see at Christmas!
