Hollywood Studios - Starcruiser Halcyon

There's been a lot chatter about the exciting new hotel that Disney is building as part of the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge expansion at Disney's Hollywood Studios. We've finally gotten a small peek at what's in store for this innovative new locations.

A fully immersive experience is what's in store for guests booking two night journey's on the Chandrila Star Line's Halcyon. Once onboard the glamorous starship, Guests immediately become active citizens of the galaxy and can dress up in the proper attire. They will interact with characters and become active participants in stories that unfold around them on their galactic journey.

Every resort window will have a view into space.

OK, I admit I want to do this. The only question is how much is this going to cost? I'm guessing either an arm and a leg or you first born child.

mickey Let me preface this by saying that Disney is no where near releasing pricing yet. ANY talk of pricing you hear AT ALL currently out out pricing is based on one post from a Disney fan blog that was speculating. This blog that was speculating has a pretty good track record on fair predictions, but it is still just speculation. RUMOR.

That being said, they are suggesting that the price could be $1100 per day, for the 3 day experience. That's $3300 (plus tax and resort fees) for a single. However, the rooms can sleep up to 5, and like when booking a cruise ship the price gets spread out so that it "lowers" per person when you have more people in your room.

Not being a huge Star Wars fan myself, I'm priced well out of this and will probably never step foot inside the resort.

Well it's definitely going to be expensive, how much we'll have to wait and see. Unless it's obscenely expensive I could see myself doing this, once. I suspect for most people it will be a once in a lifetime experience. I was a huge fan of the original Star Wars when it came out. If you told me then that I would be able to experience Star Wars first hand, I wouldn't have believed you.
