Thank you guys! I worked merchandise at WDW. First on Discovery Island at Animal Kingdom, then I got transferred to Design-a-tee at Downtown Disney. I loved being a part of it all and really can't wait to do it again!

Welcome, Jessi! We're glad you found us! Keep us posted about your progress. So, will this be a move, or are you from the Central Florida area?

If I lived close I'd go every few weeks with an annual passport but since I live in California... I would like to go once a year, maybe twice. Last year I went twice because finances allowed but this year I cannot go because the finances are not there.

Idealistically, I'd probably want to go 3-4 times in a year. One trip in September to beat the crowds and maybe throw in the Halloween Party considering that I understand the Halloween Party crowds are larger in Oct as opposed to Sept. Another trip for Food and Wine. And another trip in very early Dec to celebrate my birthday.

I really do think I'd like to live Celebration/Lake Buena Vista adjacent so that I could go whenever I wanted. I've never been very good about taking advantage of fun that's happening in my own back yard, but I love Disney so much that I think it would be the exception to the rule. We are very seriously discussing making the move in 8-10 years. I wouldn't want to go if my parents stayed in PA and they are on board with the 8-10 year timeline.

This year will be a good test. We went twice in 2012, I went twice in 2013, and we have 3 trips planned for 2014. If we get to the end of this year with all of the traveling and I'm still loving Disney as much as I do now and obsessively pin hoarding...er...I mean trading, and practically living on this site, I would say that a move will be in our future at some point. It's like I told Benn--if you want to vacation somewhere else (you know, like Disneyland or Disneyland Paris laugh ), we need to move closer to WDW so that "vacation" is somewhere else. mickey

Even if we do eventually move, I'm torn about whether or not I would like to work for Disney--particularly in an in-park capacity. I think I would, but it's such a special place to me and I usually end up not liking to be "at" work and I would never want to feel that way about Disney!!

So many people keep suggesting to me that I apply to work for Disney b/c I like to travel to WDW several times a year!! I have a very similar thought, I want Disney to be that special place that I long to go to, not that place I have to drag myself every day so that I can pay my bills. Plus, I have to hand it to CMs, I do not have the type of patience needed to deal with some of the situations and people they have to deal with. They are saints.

I do keep looking at the corporate jobs thought. If I ever find one that looks good, I will definitely apply!
