If you could buy ONE Guidebook, which one would it be?

Hey everyone!

We are bringing friends with us this fall to Disney World who have never been. I really want to get them a book that they can look through.

If you could only pick one, which one would it be? It's been awhile since I've bought one! Wink

We did an article not too long ago on the best guidebooks but it's not really ordered. I'd have to go with the Unofficial Guide. It's so comprehensive and the authors are very active and engaged in Disney World. You know they love it, they don't just write a book about it. Of course the huge size of it may be intimidating for a first-timer, but otherwise that's what I'd buy.

http://www.amazon.com/Birnbaums-Walt-Disney-World-2011/dp/1423123786/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1303747505&sr=8-4

My Dad and I get this one every 4-6 years. Its a very good one and has a lot of tips and tricks.

Not a lot of help but I have OCD, so I scour these things, and the one that I like for memories is the Deluxe Passporter, it has places to put tickets and small souveiners and what not, and they actually have quite a bit of info.
I have the unoffical and the colour companion, birnbaums, Fodor's and have created my own books from website prints. I think I have 6 3 inch binders full

Yeah... Honestly... I don't think you could go wrong. Also... Don't think anyone has said this yet. But this website is great for information as well. Even if you only lurk.

I agree with the Unofficial Guide..but it can be a bit daunting unless you REALLY like Disney World. Brinbaums is good for first timers because of all the pretty pictures! That's what I bought the first time I went anyway.

I like The Complete Walt Disney World books. Love the pictures and it gets right to the point.
