If you could only go to Disney once.....

I know it's something that none of us ever want to think about....but if you could only go to Disney one time what two table service restaurants would you chose to eat at? My mom is going with us this year and Im so excited because she's had a rough couple of years. But more then likely this will be the only time she gets to go. This year my inlaws decided not to do the dining plan so we are only doing three table service meals. Ohana is going to be one of them and I'm having a hard time coming up with two more. We can start making our ADR's tonight, which I don't understand cause we are still 190 some days out but according to the Disney website we can. So that means Mrhub and scrappy, you guys can make yours to tonight starting at midnight. Smile

Wow - just two. . .

If it was my mom, I'd take her to Narcoossee's and Cali Grill. Good food at both. Quiet and beautiful at Narcoossee's and of course the view at Cali Grill. She would love both of them.

Le Cellier is definately one and the other I'm not sure about since I don't think Crystal Palace counts since it's a buffet?

Hmmmm. I would agree with California Grill. Depending on her tastes, Cinderella's Royal Table maybe? I've never been, but I ab adore the castle, so anything I could do in it would be a BIG plus.

That's so great that she's going, Jess! I hope she has a fantastic time.

We booked Ohana, Turf club, and Whispering Canyon....What did you guys book? Maybe we will be at the same restaurants at the same time?

Liberty Tree Tavern & Cinderella's Royal Table. Both remind me of Disney when I was a kid and all those wonderful memories. The food is great too.

Jess, we still have not booked anything. I like to get everything all lined up before I book. Since this is our first trip at Christmas time, I am having a hard time fitting in everything we want to do. The biggest hold up at the moment is waiting to be able to book something for the Candlelight Processional. I may just go ahead and book everything else and hope I can get something for the day I leave open for it. O'hanas is on our list. We usually do end up eating at the Turf Club once each trip too.

Yes the Candlelight Processional is a must do in my opinion, and getting the dining package with it makes it much easier (less waiting in line).

Hear, hear! It is sooooo wonderful. We've never done the dinner package; I think we'll give it a try this year, since I recently signed up for Tables in Wonderland, so hopefully I'll FINALLY start experiencing all this good food y'all talk about!

You've probably considered this, Scrappy, but maybe leave a weeknight open for CP if possible. The crowds seem to be a little better during the first part of the week. I'm so glad you get to go at Christmas. All I can say is that it's even MORE magical.

yay
I just finished booking everything except the Candlelight Processional. I left Monday open for that. We will take either lunch or dinner in any restaurant and will go to any of the show times. I hope with that flexibility we can get something when they open up reservations. We ended up booking O'hana twice. Once for dinner and once for breakfast. I did not leave a spot for Be Our Guest. If it is opened and I can get in I will just cancel something we have booked.

Tuesday: Ohana - 5:15pm
Thursday: Turf - 5:45pm

You don't happen to be at Ohana or Turf Club on the same days as us do you? Smile

Yep, we have reservations at Ohana at 5:00 on Tuesday. I also ordered MVMCP tickets for that night. We did not book the Turf Club for this trip. I thought maybe we could get there for lunch one day. I would love to try a burger there. However, with so much we want to do this trip I am not sure we will have time for that. This trip will be different for us. We never really schedule our days. We just do whatever we feel like doing. With this being our first Christmas trip, there are so many things we want to do that I really had to schedule out our days.

Just 15 minutes apart. Too cool. I don't know what you guys have planned afterwards, but I think we're going to go to Epcot after that.

Maybe we will just have to crash your table then... Lol

California Grill would have to be one of them. For the other I'd probably pick CRT or Crystal Palace, not necessarily for the food, (though I do really enjoy CP's buffet,) but just because I think they really represent how people think about the magic.

Agree! We love LTT and I've never done Cinderella's Royal Table!
