If you have kids...would you leave them at home for a trip?

I love going to WDW with my children but would love to visit just me and my husband sometime.

Would you do it?

Yes we have, but our youngest was 16 at the time.

I wouldn't do it till my kids wouldn't care. I would just feel like I'm cheating them out of a great experience if I didn't take them with me. Would I love to go without my kids... Oh yeah! But my conscious Wouldn't let me.

In a word - yep! (Not for a long visit - say a week or more. But for a long weekend getaway - absolutely.)

NOPE! The only way I would plan a vacation to disney without my children is if they were in college and away from the home ( Even if they were high school age I would probably bring a friend of each of them) get a super suit and let them do their thing while my husband and I did ours. I think disney offers so many services that even if your children are younger you could still fine couples time. ( then again that may be because we come from Louisiana so any trip to DISNEY would be pricey and it's a vacation we are only able to do once per year.)

Absolutely. Not for a long time but maybe a few days. We would miss the heck out of him but we have been so many times before he was born that it would be sort of normal for us.

Yes, but on the other hand, if I can continue to avoid having kids I can take more expensive and longer trips instead!

I think I would, but I don't have them yet, so I'm pretty sure I'm not coming at this question from the right context laugh

I'm in the same boat. No kids yet so I'm wondering why you'd even consider bringing them. Seems like they'd just slow you down! laugh

I have to say if we had gone without them first....they may have never stepped foot on Disney property. I honestly wondered what we would do the first trip we made once they were grown and not going with us. That is truly when I began to LOVE Disney.
