If you were going to surprise your wife...

...with a long weekend in WDW, what hotel and which restaurants?

We might want to do a few special touches, too...maybe Victoria and Albert's...?

Depends on who you guys are and what you like! (Or, who your wife is and what she likes!). If it were me, I'd love to be surprised with a trip to the Animal Kingdom Lodge or the Polynesian, but I know some friends who would love the extravagance of the Grand Floridian or the log cabin-y feel of the WL. No matter what, if she's a Disney lover she'll be happy! Smile

As for restaurants--have you tried Coral Reef? They do that thing where the diver swims over to your table holding up a sign that says whatever you want it to. Vicky and Al's isn't up MY alley personally, but, again, it's certainly the best of the best. I'd prefer a fireworks table at California Grille or a Wishes viewing at 'Ohana, myself.

I've heard really good things about Bistro de Paris---have you been there?

SA, I'd love a stay at the Wilderness Lodge! I've always thought that would be so cozy and romantic. Or Port Orleans Riverside seems nice because of the carriage rides.

For restaurants, I'd want to try somewhere I've never been like Marrakesh or San Angel Inn. Maybe Spoodles at the Boardwalk or Fulton's Crab House in DTD.

Nothing's more romantic than a visit to Eeyore at the Crystal Palace and a ride on Splash Mountain? Am I right?!?! ...anyone?

I always heard laughter was romantic, so wouldn't the laughing place be particularly romantic?!?

She loves Splash Mountain, to be sure! Not certain that's the kind of "romantic" I'm looking for.
