it seems more real today!

Good news! Paid our air fare and resort in full today, so now we can breathe a sigh of relief. We're booked into All Star Sports from January 5-9. ADR at Crystal Palace for 8:30 am on the 6th! Paid for Memory Maker too. The excitement is building.

clapping that paying off feeling is fab clapping bring on the plans clapping

I'm the opposite, had a real slump this week, I've got less than 2 weeks to go but it feels less real than I did a month ago. Maybe it's because I have nothing left to plan.... Except keeping my fingers crossed for 1 more change....

I would think there's always room for tweaking plans. I did find out I can't book fast passes until November, which was a bit of a surprise. Our arrival day will be EPCOT and we may try to get a walk in at biergarten.
I'll be playing with attraction lists until the last minute I expect. Regarding being excited, it'll feel strange come the holidays, as we'll be looking forward to the trip more than Christmas!

What is the change you're hoping for?

That memory maker is worth every penny, IMO.

I'm not sure if its exclusive to memory maker or not, but I got a few short videos of mike wakowski and olaf in some pictures silly

I hear they include ride videos now too! My wife was quite amused by the dopey grin on my face yesterday, a grin that lasted till we went to bed! Got confirmation of payment emails today too! I've been playing with My Disney Experience as well.

I read somewhere that toy have to remember to link ride photos to your memory maker once you've gotten off the ride.

Ooh that's good to know! Do you just go up to the counter where you would buy your picture and just have them scan your magic band?

now i've heard two conflicting stories about this. One says you have to check at the ride, one says they photos are automatically connected to your magic band.

Reading a lot about this it seems as long as you are wearing the band the ride will pick it up, however if it's in your bag you need to scan it.
I know they can search back for them so I might just note down the ride numbers in case on my way past if I particulary love a photo, if not faith, trust and pixie dust it works!

Brinbunny, have you looked at the menus for the booths at the Food and Wine festival? That may get your planning excitement back up? I find that it's fun to go through the menu and pick out which ones I want to try (also, this gives me an approximate budget for how much I will spend there because those tiny dishes add up FAST!). I'm a pretty light eater, and even I can rack up $35 easily in those small tapas. I try to pick out the ones that I absolutely must try then add on about $20 for the random items that I want to eat because it looked better in person than it sounded on paper.

You mean the 3 pages in my trusty notebook? Arranged by booth and subdivision of must have vs nice to have. With a note of price and if I should use a snack credit or not? He hehehehe that was weeks ago........ laugh

I am now back on form, with the probability of a 2nd MNSSHP to attend and some food photos sent from a friend who has just returned and another sending me touring plans my OCD is having a field day.

I have a great weekend planned this weekend and only 5 more stress filled work days then I'm good to go....... Thanks for the help any tips are read with pleasure awesome

I'm not sure if anything has changed recently, but when I was there this past May, once you got off of a ride, you went by the ride's picture counter, identified your pictures, and swiped your band. The pics were then in your Memory Maker account.

We had Memory Maker on our bands in September and the pictures just showed up. I asked at Buzz and the CM told me you didn't have to do anything. The downside was only the person's band that bought the Maker would be in picture. I didn't wish to ride Space Mountain so DD wore my band so that she could get the picture. We swapped people in Buzz so that everybody could get a picture.

Again, when we were at WDW in May, anyone on my Family and Friends list (inside My Disney Experience) could swipe their band and any ride picture or any Photopass picture would be in my account. We have several pics on different rides that I was not on, and wasn't there to swipe my band.
