It's Getting Hot in Here...

....no one disrobe, however. That would just get awkward.

Okay, so how HOT WAS IT in your neighborhood yesterday??

I'm from SC and it was 113!!

yikes! I like the hot weather but 113 is too hot for me.

I'm in CT and it was in the low to mid 90s yesterday.

We were lucky in central PA Saturday. We got some midday cloud cover that kept our highs only in the upper 80s.

Friday it was upper 90s, though, and today will be more like that. With high humidity. I'm not setting one foot outdoors for the forseeable future, except to get the mail.

Supposed to be like this all week - too hot for me!

It's been raining here in Houston, so today it's 75 degrees... I'm enjoying this because I know that this weather is short lived!

Our weather man just said it will be in the upper 90s all week long. A nice addition to that is that we lost the use of one of our window a/c because it keeps tripping the breaker. Ugh... it's only the begining of July, this is going to be a long hot summer.

Both Saturday and Sunday were over 105 (according to my car) outside of Atlanta.

I jumped into the pool around 9 a.m. on Sunday and it felt like bathwater! Then I quickly returned to the comfort of the A/C.

I'm welcoming this "cold" snap of mid 90's the rest of the week.

What???? You are out west, aren't you? Wow, you are having crazy weather! Although a little 15 degree weather would be welcome here right about now (Southern Ontario). It's "cooled" down to all of 29 celcius today! laugh

I am in Edmonton AB, about 7-8 hours north of the Montana/Alberta border (for my American friends who don't want to look on a map).

Some days it will get up to around 30C (86F) here. Today is just a cold day. Much better than the -45C /w windchill (-49F) that we will occasionally see through out winter.

I went to Edmonton once drove out in our race car hauler to the dragstrip outside the city all the way from Mass. Boy talk about a ride. eek Longest drive I have ever been on BUT I muchlove the area. I remember that they had fireworks after the races at about 11PM and you could not see them because it was still broad daylight laugh and the drive up was absolutely beautiful. And those oil rigs and shale mining shovels were amazing. The winters must be hard though.

Love it here. It is very pretty and the mountains are about 2-3 hours away. I don't mind winter anymore. The worst of it lasts about 1-2 weeks max and I just have to plug in my car and wake up early to shovel it out of the piles around it. But when everything is white and sparkly, it is pretty so I don't mind! Besides the seat heaters in my car are amazing. Lots of sun in the summer, lots of snow in the winter! I don't really like heat or lots of rain so for me, this will do just fine.

for the 4th it was 103 in Chicago. We were at the White Sox game and it was definitely miserable. Today is no cooler and tomorrow should be just as bad. Hubby and I are off today so we are staying inside all day.
