Is Joffery's Coffee to Replace Nescafe at Disney Restaurants?

Rumor has it that Joffery's Brewed Coffee will be replacing NesCafe in all of the WDW Restaurants in the near future.

Though there are MANY fan websites reporting this right now, I've been talking with AJ from the Disney Food Blog and neither of us has found a solid source for the information. None of the other websites that we've seen are sourcing their stories, or the source leads to another fan site that isn't sourced. She's getting in touch with some of her contacts to try an get a definitive answer!

Would you welcome this change in the brewed coffee offered in Walt Disney World restaurants? I know that I will!

I've never heard of Joffrey's but it has to be better than Nescafe.

I've never had Joffrey's, but I am definitely not a big fan of Nescafe's iced cappuccinos or iced coffees at Disney

I'm not a big coffee drinker but my hubby is. He will be thrilled to hear that Nescafe is being replaced. Not a fan of Nescafe..... yuck Anything would probably be an improvement...

Joffery's is not too bad. It's what they've been serving in the Signature restaurants at night, and Joffery's already runs all of the coffee kiosks in the parks.

awesome
Wish she would have sourced it though. I'm wondering if someone was just told this in the park by a Cast Member.

Kristen, the Tikman said the same thing on his Facebook page . No source there either though.

yay
I sure hope this is one true rumor!!! I really do not even care what they replace it with. Whatever it is would have to be better than Nescafe. Now I wonder how long I will have to wait to see Pepsi in WDW?

Since the coca cola is free for Disney, or so I hear, I doubt Pepsi will be making its debut anytime soon....If this is true, definitely excited to give Joffrey's a try next time we are down.

I can't see Coke being free for Disney not at those quantities. It all depends on how long their contract is for and then who gives them the best wholesale prices once it is up. Restaurants and movie theaters have to sign contracts to sell exclusively one or the other. Prices are based on the length of those contracts.

Coca Cola gives Disney free syrups for sodas in return for free advertising and promotion in the parks. Win - win for both companies as they both get something for free.

I was thinking of the bottled sodas. I have no idea about their syrup agreement. I guess it makes sense.

Funny though most people are either Pepsi co fans or coke cola fans. I don't think I have ever heard of someone going to Disney as a Pepsi fan and came home a coke fan. rolling JK They do come home as Disney Fans. awesome clapping

Yep! It's a contract that's been there for ever. When I was a girl, Disney Park attractions and restaurants were ALL about the sponsorships. As years go by however there seem to be fewer and fewer affiliate companies that want to create that sort of partnership. My family has been drinking Coke since I can remember, but we've also been Disney fans since the early days of Disneyland. I wish that there was someone still alive that I could ask which came first. I know that Disney has introduced me to several brands and products that I've become very loyal to.

My Dad bottled Nesbitt's orange soda, starting back in the 50's. Our very first visit to Disneyland in 1960 was made possible by Nesbitt's, since they were the "official" orange drink in the park. When Dad wrote and asked for advice, etc., they sent multiple ticket books, plus booked us into the Disneyland Hotel at a ridiculously cheap corporate rate. That was our first taste of the Disney magic, and made that trip even more memorable. I still miss Nesbitt's orange.

I do not want Disney to replace Coke with Pepsi, I just wish I could buy Pepsi on Disney property. I do not usually drink fountain soda regardless of the brand but I would buy bottles of Pepsi if I could.

Oh, wouldn't that be wonderful , to have Pepsi products during the day and good coffee to start your day!

I could be mistaken but i could swear i saw pepsi products at the hess station, and the only reason i remember this is because a friend of ours is an avid pepsi drinker and spent the whole week complaining about the coke and on our last day i went to get gas at the hess and when i went in to pay i just happend to notice pepsi and thought too bad we did not come for gas earlier in the trip. As far as coffee goes you guy's down south are really missing out on dunkin donuts too bad they can't get in to disney

No senseicj, we've checked numerous times over the years, they can't sell Pepsi products. We just go to the grocery store and get or Pepsi, or just bring it with.
