Just One Park Forever

If you could only visit one Disney Park for the rest of your life - which one would it be, and why? Is that the Park you consider to be your favorite park?

I would probably choose Epcot because of the restaurants, shopping, and seasonal festivals. Oddly, it's not my favorite Park, Disneyland is.

I would say Magic Kingdom because:

I will never forget the first time I went to Disney and saw the castle and still get goosebumps
It has my favourite ride Splash Mountain
The restaurants and Dole whips Smile

I love Magic Kingdom I'd say its my favourite park but if I only had to pick 1 park forever I'd say EPCOT for exactly the same reason as you Kristen, it has more variety throughout the year with the different festivals, plus I have an unhealthy obsession with the candied strawberries at the Flower and Garden I don't think I could deprive myself of them!

Absolutely 100% Magic Kingdom. It just encompasses all things Disney to me. And while it may not have my favorite restaurants, there are plenty of great places to eat at the surrounding resorts.

That's a tough one, probably Epcot however HS is a close second. HS may move to first place after SW & TS expansions open.

I would have to say Epcot as well. It is my favorite park. So many dining options and the festivals.

Magic Kingdom because it has the highest number of my favorite rides and a fun variety of non-ride entertainment. Oh, and the best rope drop ceremony! And Cosmic Rays. muchlove

This is a little tough because I love Epcot as I think of it has more of an adult feel but my heart belongs to Magic Kingdom because to me there is nothing like walking down Main Street and looking up to see the castle. It still gives me goosebumps and makes me smile all at the same time.

I think I would have to go with Disneyland. In a few short years, it will have both Fantasyland and Star Wars Land in the same gate, which is the only place that combines my favorite land and Benn's favorite land so perfectly. Plus, it had fireworks + parades + Fantasmic, so plenty of nighttime options. And I think if I couldn't ever visit park #1 again, I would be really sad. Plus, my favorite ride ever is Alice in Wonderland and we love Mr. Toad & Storybookland. I love the diversity of experiences in Disneyland park and all of the green space (except when it blocks my view during fireworks! LOL!) and benches. I also like the diversity of quick service options.

If I could only go to one park for the rest of my life, it would be Disneyland. I love Magic Kingdom, but Disneyland has more stuff packed into it.

Probably the Magic Kingdom for me. I mean, it's clearly the theme park that best represents Disney as a whole.

It has the most rides, most characters and you can't go wrong with Dole Whips! biggrin

Although the Magic Kingdom isn't always a must do park for us, it's the epitome of Disney, so that's the one I'd have to choose.

It makes me sad to think I'd have to only have one park for the rest of my life!
I love Magic Kingdom because it has the classic Disney feel to me.....so MK it is!

I would miss Animal Kingdom Park terribly so I would have to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge to make up for it!

Magic Kingdom 100% it is my favorite park. It has all my favorite rides.
The food could be better there, I am hoping Skipper Canteen will be a new favorite when I try it in September.
It is everything that Disney means to me in one park I love it there it is truly magical.

laugh I'm totally feeling peer pressure on this thread, that I picked the Park with not enough "magic."

That is a tough choice...

I would probably pick Epcot with Magic Kingdom being a close second. I love the different countries and the variety of food choices. I love the ability sit back, have a glass of beer and watch the world go by but still be able to some great rides in Future World. When we vacation to WDW, we always spend an extra day in Epcot or hop back to Epcot for dinner.

The Magic Kingdom is great with the classic rides like Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and the Fantasyland rides. It is nice to know that if I cravea Dole Whip, there is always The Polynesian Village for that.

So...yes, I would pick Epcot.

This answer would have been Epcot for many years, but now I'm not sure. I still love the atmosphere and would hate to avoid it, but I might give the slight edge to The Magic Kingdom now. Epcot needs a jolt of energy that isn't just based on IP. It's still an amazing park, but in terms of attractions I'd have to go with the MK at this point.

I would have to say, MK mickey . The original and the one that holds so many great memories for us. And as drwadadli stated, "the classic rides like Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion", etc., never gets old for us. And "Be our guest" restaurant and the Chrystal Palace will have to do waiting .

p.s. When we first started visiting WDW, there was only one park clapping , you've got it, Magic Kingdom Cool
