Leave a Legacy?

Do they still add pictures to the Leave a Legacy Walls at Epcot? Does anyone here have tiles for their family?

The wife and I have a tile, along with the directions on where to find it amongst all the other tiles. Over the years I have heard rumors that they were planning to move them to somewhere less visible and in a less traveled area.

I think they still do. Our family did it about 12 years ago, and we have really enjoyed going back and looking at it each trip. If you have AAA they will give a discount....or at least I believe they did way back when.

It was discontinued in 2007. I'd love to have a picture there if they were still available.

My problem is that I do have a tile there from my first marriage and it is a photo of me and the ex. Although we are divorced and I am married to my soul mate it is a reminder of less happy days. I did go and visit it last year as I had never seen it I would have taken it off the wall if I could. So please let them move it somewhere else!

Here's a lousy picture of our goofball boys, er, loving children, pointing to their Legacy photo in 2004.

Ditto, ditto, and ditto. On the other hand, there is also a tile of my darling son as a little boy that I treasure seeing when I visit Epcot now. I try and look at the one of my ex and I as a reminder of how far I've come since then.

My parents did it in 2003
Then the following year we did it as a couple then my son separate

What we didn't realise was when mum and dad did it, it was to be my dads last holiday
Dad was diagnosed with cancer within six months of leaving his legacy and passed away eighteen months later (if he could have flown we would have been back believe me but it was in his lungs so he wasn't able to fly)

The moral really is that Dad really DID leave his legacy and only ten days ago whilst at Epcot with friends I was able to point it out and of course remember all the good time we had (I'm sure he was with us in spirit). And of course every time we travel to Disney World it's a tradition to race to find our photos

I thought originally they were only going to be there for fifteen years or so but they never all got filled so I'd assume they will be destroyed when the time comes
