Movies in Theaters?

How often do you guys see a movie in a theater? Also, how many of you have a fancy home theater system?

We love to see movies in the theater, but there are so few we want to see. We have nothing fancy at home though, so we kind of have to go to the theater to have the theater experience.

Don't get to the theater that often and we're saving our pennies for a Kick-@ss home theater system. Next move will involve a whole brand new livingroom with surround sound, blueray and awesome HD TV!! Oh and a huge collection of Disney blueray discs...gotta catch up on quite a few movies.

We have a flat-screen TV, but nothing surround sound.

Sometimes I watch those shows where they fit out someone's basement with movie-theater like features, and, of course, the over-stuffed leather recliners for "movie seats!"

I think I would be more excited about the popcorn machine, but the big screen and great sound would be nice!

This is embarassing as I don't have one of those fancy HDTV's or even a digital TV. I'm still using my old flat screen big box hooked up to cable and netflix box.

I hardly go to the movies unless it's a girls night out to see something like Avatar that must be seen on the big screen or a chic flick just for fun.

Not embarrassing. I graduated recently from the television I inherited from my father which he must have bought in 1985 at the latest, I'd guess more like '81.
