My Disney Experience question

Hello to everyone! I've been away for a while but glad to get back. I'm very happy to announce that my DW will be completing grad school in May, and what better way to celebrate than a return trip to Disney World! clapping clapping

Here's where I need a little assistance. My DW and I both have accounts with MDE. I made our reservations and can access everything. However, when I try to link my wife's account to the reservation, it tells me that the confirmation number is already in use (by me) and she should contact me. She is of course listed on the reservation when I log in to my account. I guess bottom line is I can't see a way to connect her account to her name on my reservation. I tried calling Disney for help, and after talking to the computer for a few minutes I was placed in the music cue and thought, "why am I holding here when I have the world's foremost experts (all of you) at my fingertips?" So does anyone have any advice on how to get the MDE account to recognize it belongs with the reservation?

Thanks everyone in advance and I promise a pre-trip report soon. Not travelling until late September so I've got a little time.

Let me see if I have this right -

You have an MDE account and made the reservations.
Your wife has her own MDE account.

What you need to do is to connect her account and your account through the "My Family and Friends" List by adding a new guest to your reservation, which you should see under the "My Account" section when you log into MDE.

Check out this page.

Let me know if this wasn't what you're trying to do.

My DH and I only have one MDE account for the both of us. It made things much easier to share one instead of us each having an account. When either of us want to check MDE, make plans or FP+ selections we just log into our one MDE that we are both linked into. You can both be logged into one MDE account at the same time on two different devices. Your wife could log into your account and do everything she could do on her own account.

Thanks ladies for your quick response! Kristen, I followed the link you sent and got to a link to send an invitation. Not sure where I was earlier but that was literally the "missing link"!! I now have both accounts connected to the reservation so I'm good to go. Annie, was ready to implement your idea as Plan B, thanks for sharing.

Also, a quick PRE-pre-trip report -- Got our first Mickey Mail for this trip just this week! yay yay yay
