My snacking adventure

So when I went to MK last weekend, instead of doing the typical counter service burger I have always done, I tried some of the snack suggestions I found on this board. I have to say, it was cheaper in the long run and a lot more fun just snacking and trying new things all day! I took a few pics with my cell phone so figured I might post my adventures when I go, lol.

When it cools down I'll have to bring my better camera, but it's too hot to lug around right now.

We tried the Dole Whip float from Aloha Isle as well as the chocolate croissant and turkey/cheese sandwich from Mainstreet Bakery. I also tried a cream cheese pretzel from Launching Pad but it was too dark to get a pic. Tomorrow Im gonna see what Epcot has. Smile

P.S. We just got a free ice water with out food at the bakery. Those ice waters they give you are huge! yay

WOW! That sandwich looks delicious! I may just have to snack all day on our trip too!

Got to try a few new things today at Epcot. We all just kept getting snacks and sharing. Laughing out loud I forgot my camera so no pics Sad

The school bread in Norway....holy cow that was good! It was a weird dough nutty thing with lots of coconut. Definately a fav! I shared a kids sweet and sour chicken and order of egg rolls with my kiddo. It was just okay and I wished I'd gotten something else. Egg rolls were not as good as I expected. Also shared a cheesecake slice from France and some chips from UK. Both were wonderful!

Next Saturday I'm going to AK to try those zebra domes! (is it really bad I get so excited for food??) yay

Not at all. I can't speak for everyone, but I suspect many (including me) would be disappointed if you didn't. We love talking about Disney food.

Oh! I almost forgot! I bought my son a Mickey ice cream bar. He ate about half of it and then dropped it and started sobbing. We were trying to calm him down telling him we'd buy him another one......when a cast member saw him and just gave him a brand new one. I tried to pay him but he wouldn't let me. How awesome is that?

There you have it, that's why for 40 years Disney has been my vacation destination of choice. I just can't imagine going someplace that didn't have that magic. It really is the little things that make the difference, and Disney has an abundance of them. muchlove

So glad to hear that you're enjoying all the great Food! We don't have very exciting food where I live, so when we hit "the world" it's all about the food! I'm trying to work my way through all of the signature dining spots right now. I told my husband that we needed to schedule our 2013 vacations so I could begin planning where to eat. He looked at me like I had lost my mind.
