No ADRs?!?!?!?!

For our July/August trip I'm not going to be planning much as far as ADRs go. eek

I don't eat much when it is hot and Blondie will be in golf camp most of the day.

We will be taking lots of snacks and such for the room.

I am planning on only 1 ADR for each meal time. So, one breakfast, lunch and dinner.

If you could pick only 1each for your entire trip, what would you choose.

We are staying at Old Key West so I am already considering Olivia's for dinner one night.

My first thought would be breakfast since (depending on what you get), it won't be as heavy. Unless you get tonga toast. I swear the last time I had it, it stayed with me for three days. laugh With Blondie in golf camp, it may not work for you timing wise.

I would say dinner. When I was there last July, I ate a lot of salads at quick service places to avoid eating something too heavy during the day. My table service meals were for dinner.

Trails End for breakfast or dinner ( or both wink ) and Garden Grill for any meal. However, both are all you care to eat which might be too heavy for you so maybe Beaches and Cream for lunch or dinner, the Plaza for lunch, or Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch ( and by lunch I mean Ooey Gooey Toffee cake). Not sure about breakfast as all the ones we've done are buffets lol

Hrmmm... Whispering Canyon Cafe for Breakfast, Sanaa for lunch, and someplace with an Illuminations view for dinner.

I absolutely love the Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast - they have amazing French toast and Greek yoghurt with honey and fresh berries.

For lunch I would choose The Plaza at MK. Their burgers are amazing and just the right amount of food.

For dinner - either Olivia's due to convenience, although we've only had breakfast there, or Via Napoli for pizza and salad. I love that salad and the pizza is light.

I was planning on Saturday for our breakfast ADR since it would be the only day Blondie could go.

Maybe a character breakfast?

My vote for dinner or lunch is the 50's prime time cafe. We just finished lunch there and it was all delicious. We split the sampler(meatloaf, pot roast, fried chicken, mashed potatoes and vegetables) and it was just the right amount of food for 2 people. They also have really good adult beverages.

I love character meals. I would suggest 1900 Park Fare or Cape May Cafe for breakfast.

We have only done 1 character meal and it was for breakfast at The Garden Grill - would highly recommend it, especially if you or Blondie likes Chip and Dale!

I was considering Garden Grill biggrin

I guess I better hop on this, I'm already in the ADR window!

Lunch will be Joe and I by our selves for one of the days. I like the Plaza idea.

Breakfast Saturday - Garden Grill
Lunch Tuesday - The Plaza
Dinner Wednesday- Olivia's

The rest of our breakfast meals will be in room stuff that we bring with us.
Lunches and dinners will be apps or quick service where ever we may be at the time.
I MAY have to leave property eek this time for some Girodano's Pizza biggrin

Thanks everyone!!!

ok...

So I ended up with the following

Breakfast - Garden Grill Saturday morning - our checkout day sad

Lunch - The Plaza - this may end up being just me if Joe is golfing

Dinner - Olivia's - I made the ADR pretty late, it will be after our Waterpark day if we decide to do that.

All the other meals will be breakfast in the room and grabbing something counter service or snacks on the fly. I can live on popcorn so that will be my dinner at least once!
