Now that La Hacienda de San Angel is OPEN..

Now that this beautiful..yummy..looking new restuarant in the Mexico Pavilion has opened what do you think the future holds for San Angel Inn? I haven't heard a "good" review in years and now that this new place has opened it is sure to become the most popular with its newness & great views of Illuminations.

Personally, I would like to see it close and have them put something really cool there. (What that would be exactly..I have no idea).

No idea! I haven't heard too many awesome reviews of Hacienda yet, either, so maybe the company is just bad at food! Wink

They also run the Coronado Springs eateries, which haven't been stellar for a long time.

I'm eager to give San ANgel Inn another chance, though; great atmosphere, good margaritas, decent food. The service is awful though.

Our last visit to San Angel Inn the food was just blaaah! It just had no flavor! I can't recall that the service was bad though. We were going to try it again this trip, but decided to cancel it and go somewhere else.

Did the same company make the food for Cantina de San Angel? I always loved the Cantina..I am disappointed that the menu has changed..r.i.p. Wet Burrito..but I the new menu looks good and there are some things I am willing to try out.
